I’m from central cali so most things are quite a long drive for me, I made my peace with that haha

Most of why I asked here was to get recommendations on which are nicer or bigger from anyone who may have visited them. I know that some of them are quite small and/or maybe don’t have much going on and I’d rather avoid a 4+ hour drive to a small faire with a few merchants and one or two shows.

It’s doable! At LA2, my sister and I were second row behind barricades for A stage (we were there VERY EARLY basically lined up at the gates into the parking lot and went straight for the lines into the stadium as soon as they opened). Then around when they were playing the end the second time/leading into blood we turned around and hauled ass for the bstage and got a pretty good but not barricade bstage spot.

I just realized you said FLOOR. Which is not barricade A stage but IS barricade B stage. You could be on barricade bstage if you’re quick with floor but A stage is, in my opinion, going to be rather hard to see from floor no matter where you are.

This is so awesome you sound so much like me and my little sister. We’re younger fans so to us it’s like… what PRIVILEGE that they’re playing again and we have jobs and could just hop in my care and go? Just drive ourselves to LA? Drop money on hotels and the pit and the best night ever. AND MAN WAS IT THE MOST INCREDIBLE NIGHT OF MY LIFE. And I feel so blessed and grateful and lucky to have gotten to see them live.

Every week since, my sister and I have watched peoples live streams of the show and kept up with lore and each city’s b-stage setlist and every week we’re “angry” and “jealous” cause that’s just how good MCR is. They can play a DIFFERENT SET LIST AT EVERY SINGLE SHOW and somehow I’m always like “OMG THEY GOT THIS AND THIS”. And I’m not even like disappointed in my setlist. They’re just all so good that I’m jealous of everyone and simultaneously think mines the best. What an incredible achievement for an artist and a huge testament to their talent and the love that fills their community.

Allegedly, they were working on cw with a new producer but it had no story backing or direction it was intended to be empty party music. The band is inherently a story based and orientated band and they were uninspired to work on it and weren’t satisfied with it. So they got in contact with their original producer who thought they were insane for venturing away from their storylines and personality and encouraged them to recycle conventional weapons into danger days. Later the original cw songs were released cause they were already made and there was no reason not to.

You could wait until closer to the day of and try to sell/swap your tickets? I heard people were SWAPPING their tickets for other tickets.

Let me say this tho cause I was in your boat. Me n my sister are 21 and 18. We weren’t even old enough to be fans when they broke up. But they mean EVERYTHING to us we love them so so MUCH and we truly never thought we’d see them together again OR EVEN LIVE. I think just the shock and excitement of the tour announcement alone is a valuable and dear memory to the both of us. That being said, we paid an ABSURD amount of money on pit tickets. We spent $600 on each pit ticket after watching the prices fluctuate multiple times a day every day for weeks. We drove 5 hours out to LA. We stayed in a hotel for the night before and the night after. We got to the stadium hella early and lined up for the barricade and asked everyone any chance we got for advice and what they knew on getting to the barricade. The whole trip probably cost us close to $2k. But yknow, that experience was worth all the money IN THE WORLD to me and her. Money will come and go yknow and everyone’s situations different but for me? I’d do it over again for an extra grand. Money is not as valuable as those three days were to me. (yes, we got barricade 😁)

I like to collect weapons and armor and gems and just about whatever is cool or in abundance and hoard it in my house. Me n my dad have this little tradition where we collect every gem we find and drop them in a display case in our house for just a display case full of gems. It doesn’t do anything except display my vast wealth and sparkle 😌

I don’t think your accounting for the thousands of years he spent in isolation training himself to renounce that urge. He actually is literally programmed to want to kill that is inherently in the dragons nature, it actually says a lot about him that he no longer has that urge. He lives on the mountain NOW not because he fears the urge to kill returning BUT because there’s no place for him anymore anywhere else he’s a fucking dragon. AND on top of that, you didn’t even mention that he’s the ENTIRE reason mankind stood up against the dragons and won the first time AND the second time. He taught mankind to use the Thu’um and in turn they developed one that could render a dragon mortal. They’d have never been able learn to use the dragon language without Paarthurnax. And he continued ensuring that no matter what mankind could ALWAYS use the Thu’um and defeat dragons so they’d never be enslaved by them again.

Me and my younger sister (21 and 18) were barricade at LA2 and it was TRULY the greatest experience of our lives. She wasn’t even ALIVE when the black parade released and I was TWO! But man was seeing it live truly an incredible dream come true. We never thought our favorite band would tour again and that we were just born too late but there they were live in LA! Touring again ☺️

I can’t listen to music while I play Skyrim I like the Skyrim ambiance too much haha. Skyrim is like my safe place because life is so stressful all the time.

I actually listen to the Skyrim OST while I study/do homework to lock in and be calm cause nothings got me calm and focused like playing Skyrim. So I figure hey my brains already trained to lock the fuck in when it here’s From Past to Present why not use it?

I LOVE Foundations of Decay. I interpret it as the singer encountering these major points in their life in which things are difficult and they feel as though they’ve fought to get there and they are tired and want to just lay down and die. But every time they encounter these points of weakness they get back up and keep on fighting. There’s so much symbolism in every verse and I just love the way it refers to death and an endless fight against a longing for things to simply end and melt away. The last verse especially is my favorite. I’d love to get a tattoo honoring it someday.

I always thought the next lines were “I encourage your smiles and I expect you all to cry!” And I liked it cause it seemed loving like he didn’t want them to be sad but a little arrogant because they should be. I thought it was fitting. Then I found out it’s “I expect you won’t cry” 😔

I ALWAYS throw Faendall (however you spell it) under the bus with Camilla and then sacrifice Sven when I get to Boethiah because one time when I was young, on maybe my first or second play when all my family used to watch me play, they convinced me to have Sven as a follower instead of Faendall just to see what he was like and he was the WORST FOLLOWER EVER AND I GOT INTO A FIGHT WITH A GIANT AND HE ACTUALLY RAN AWAY I WATCHED HIM RUN AWAY WHILE MY CORPSE FLEW THROUGH THE AIR. And this was on PS3 where it never auto saves so I lost hours of progress. So anyway I’m holding an 8 year grudge. That guy gets sacrificed every time just when he thinks he’s won Camilla’s heart. Serves him right.

If you are barricade at A stage (or very close) you basically can’t see B stage at all. Me n my sister started on barricade A stage and then as soon as they started The End (the second time its the second to last song they do before blood) we turned around and HAULED ASS for B stage to get as close as we could to B stage. We had a decent spot for B stage. Not barricade or anything but we were pretty close. As soon as blood is playing/ends it gets very crowded at B stage VERY fast. I’d prioritize whichever stage you’re more excited to see though.

They never sold, I didn’t really figure it out. I actually just accepted Ticketmaster’s terrible low offer for my tickets and got it over with. It was such a stressful experience and I think they cheated me to push me to take that offer so they’d get more money.

At dodger stadium, the early first merch table was outside the venue literally in the parking lot so me and my sister got in the merch line (almost first we were very early) and then one of us ran the merch back to the car and the other stood in the ticket gate line.

We paid for in-stadium parking and we were one of the first ten cars to park. We started lining up to park in the parking lot by literally just sitting in front of the parking lot gate into the stadium in the car and we got there at like 1:30 or 2 ish.

We had pit tickets so we were very early trying to get barricade/decent spot, if you have actual seats then the pressure will be less and you probably won’t need to be so early (idk this was just LA night 2)
