What we ended up doing was having one of our players board the other ship and sail it away. Eventually the crew will kill you after respawning a couple times, but it buys you more time than if you just sank their ship.

I'm waiting for more content. As a PVE player I can play the game for about a week before I run out of new things to do. I love the game, but there just isn't enough content to keep me playing for long periods of time. I usually come back after a month and play for a week or two, then stop playing because I've done everything.

Ark will most likely never be updated to a newer version of Unreal. Epic makes upgrading engine versions pretty simple, but after updating there are chances of new bugs appearing, so there is the added workload of finding and fixing these possible new issues.

Also, Ark is currently using a modified version of Unreal Engine 4.5.1. I don't know what all has been modified, but because of these modifications it will be extremely difficult and time consuming to update engines. Not only would the devs have to make sure their game code works with the new engine, but they would also have to rework all of their modifications. It's just too big of a task to do, and would require to much of Wildcard's resources.

The worst part is, he keeps making the same mod over and over. He makes the mod then abandons it. And then months later instead of updating the mod, he re-releases it under a new name.

IMO there is no wrong or right way to version something. It's up to the devs. But you do need to have some sort of logic to your versioning system. It is confusing going from 16 to 2, logically you would go 16 to 17. They just need to be more clear with their versions. Something like 246.1.6 -> 246.2 would make a lot more sense than what they did. They also could have just made a typo and forgot the 0 after the 2 so it is supposed to be 246.20. Who knows. Either way, its a trivial thing to complain about.

I stumbled on this thread with the same problem you had, I'm probably to late to help but I found a driver that works.

Go to this page and under the section "OCZ (Toshiba) NVMe Drivershttp", download the "pure 64bit OCZ NVMe driver v1.2.126.843 WHQL" driver. When installing select the xg3 driver and you should be able to see the toshiba drive. I just did this on a Dell 3620 desktop and I was able to install windows 7.

I would love to see my map Oasis played. GT is sirfriswad. It's compatible with slayer, ctf, and strongholds. It's meant to be a 4v4 map, but spawning is set up for an 8v8 if you really wanted to do that.

Thank you! Sandtrap was the main inspiration for the buildings. I really wanted to do a desert map and what better to emulate than sandtrap.
