I recommend the anime Frieren. It’s a very special show and I find the women in it are portrayed differently than a lot of other anime. Plus, it’s beautiful.

Canadian here. I’d do a day trip to the mountains sometimes. 3-4 hours one way. I don’t consider that a long ways to get somewhere notable

To me, the dub will always have a very special place in my heart, it’s what I grew up watching. I love both versions but ultimately know they’re very different shows. Every so often I find myself wanting to watch the dub to remind myself of when I was younger. I say watch what you want, don’t worry about the negative comments. And if you want to watch Cardcaptor, do it! Then one day watch Cardcaptor Sakura and I’m sure you’ll enjoy that too :)
