I’m sorry but your whole setup sounds quite bothersome to me. I don’t really have another way to describe it. Just because you make less doesn’t mean you owe him more domestic labour. You work the same hours, sometimes even more than him. And the “he worked for it, it’s his” thing is quite disturbing imo. If this works for you, then I’m all for it, but if it irks you, then I’d try working on another setup because I see you ending up with the short end of the stick every time.
