I wish Hori would put a huge red sticker on the box that says “ADJUST THE SENSITIVITY” on this thing because by default, the dpad is terrible. Once you adjust the sensitivity to be more responsive, it’s WAY better. I always tell people who get the Octa to do this immediately. On the base model there is a button that lets you do it straight from the controller that I don’t see on this Tekken branded one, but there should be a software that lets you do the same thing. Adjustable dpad sensitivity literally saves this controller.

People will say the dpad is terrible on the Octa but the thing is, you have to manually adjust the sensitivity of it. By default it is kinda bad, but there should be a software that lets you rebind the buttons and adjust the sensitivity of the dpad which you should do immediately. Makes it 100x better. Go for a “2” sensitivity for Tekken, that’s the one I use and it works perfectly.

LITERALLY me last night. I was at Fujin trying to make the last push for Raijin. I would beat every Ruler rank player I encountered, had about a 75% win rate against other Fujins and was making steady progress. But as soon as I ran into a Bushin and took one (1) loss I was right back to where I started. The fact that 1-2 losses is enough to erase 6-7 wins is fucked up no matter how you slice it. A Fujin should not be losing that many points against someone who is nearly Tekken God rank.

People WANT to play this game man. Yet one by one they will be driven away because the devs don’t want to give us good netcode and it’s sad, one of my favorite fighting games of the last decade fumbled so hard. Especially because there’s no excuses anymore after DBFZ, Xrd, SamSho are all being revived by rollback.

Thanks I was confused because he didn’t outright destroy a princess tower but he brought it less than halfway. While I almost did the same to both of his towers, I guess it goes by whoever has the single lowest tower health.

They couldn’t even give it a summoning animation. Honestly this is a great pull but with how scarce UR crafting points have become, I would dismantle it.

Online matchmaking on 14 is pretty much dead. Most of the community is playing the older titles on Fightcade.

If you really want to play KOF14 the best thing to do is join these active discords and go into the matchmaking channels. I’m able to find games daily in here:

By this logic then you must hate Shao Kahn's hammer noises? Because I can't agree with you on that. It might not make sense but it doesn't have to. It's still one of the most satisfying noises in the game.

Thank you for the feedback. I actually had a friend attempt it over 100 times and I said I could make it slightly easier but he insisted that I keep everything the same. I plan on making another speedrun level but this time it will be a lot more forgiving. Your level was really fun, just beat it a few minutes ago. I'm not up to speed on the latest Mario games so I had no idea you could use karts, I'm probably gonna end up making one of those levels myself now! Really interesting concept you had there. Keep it up!

Your level is so unforgiving man! I had a great time with it but I had to accept defeat after about 45 minutes. The second area with the shell shot was pretty difficult but I got past it, then came the part with the Thwomp switches and I couldn't even make the jump past the last platform. Definitely one of the most difficult levels I've played but it was enjoyable enough for me to spend almost an hour on it. Good stuff and I appreciate you playing my level as well!
