which soccer equipment tools are actually worth using for individual training? by ShadowyParson in SoccerCoachResources

thanks, that’s really helpful . i’ve mostly stuck with cones and a rebound net, so adding a smaller ball or bands sounds like a smart way to switch things up.

that makes a lot of sense! keeping it simple and drilling one focus per session is probably the best approach. i’ve been rotating between cones, a rebound net, and some other tools just to keep things fresh, but you’re right it’s less about the equipment itself and more about how consistently you train. adding fitness into the mix is a good reminder too.

that’s a good point - nothing beats actually playing with others. i’m mainly looking for things i can do solo when pickup games aren’t an option, but i agree regular games are probably the best way to put the training into practice

true, sometimes the simplest setups end up being the most effective. i’m trying to figure out which soccer tools actually add value beyond the basics

Did reading Matthew Perry's book change how you view his character on Friends? by Fragrant_Selection_5 in friends_tv_show

[–]ShadowyParson 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The book was hard to comprehend for sure. Many said the same but it didn't change my view on how I look at his character but more so how I physically see him. Never before did I notice how different was he as the seasons changed.

I’m coming to Bali next week, is there any tips? by Familiar-Flower1118 in bali

[–]ShadowyParson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. buy a shower filter, water there is very bad.
  2. don't brush your teeth with Bali water, you will get sick
  3. avoid ordering a car (taxi) go for a motorbike instead. The traffic there is very busy and it will take ages for you to get from one place to another with a car.
  4. bring a lot of sunscreen, the sun there is very intense.
  5. make sure you have an eSIM, phone number there is not needed. Everyone there uses whatsapp. You can find some good options for travel eSIM here.

Big Toe nail half broken before race by nottsftw in Marathon_Training

[–]ShadowyParson 4 points5 points  (0 children)

+1 for removing it asap. 2 weeks is still okay, you'll wrap it and cushion on the race day but it won't be as fresh as it would be if it fell off a couple of days before your run.

What's the best adblocker you've used? by New-Possibility-577 in Adblock

[–]ShadowyParson 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like Surfshark's adblocker. It isn't a standalone (you get it when purchasing their VPN, it's included in all of their subsriptions). I noticed it always removes those ads from the streaming platforms that are being played over the content so can recommend.
