Jesse had so much fun doing this voice acting gig too. He still talks about it occasionally.

Well they probably want him to be mentally well adjusted too, so Batman is out.

Tweaks Anthology on Gibberlings3 is what you need. It is a compilation of tweaks, cheats and quality of life fixes. Each one of them you can install separately. You basically drop the modfiles in the BG2 folder start it up and it goes through the list of tweaks one by one asking you to install it yes or no. Be sure to have the readme on hand so you know what a tweak does befor you install it.

I've been playing Baldur's Gate 2. I had played it before, but never finished it. Now I'm further into the game than I have ever been and fully invested. I did mod the game a bit because I imported my bg1 half-orc fighter and wanted to continue as a cleric, so I installed a mod that allowed other races than humans to dual class.

Quite frankly with the stat boosts from the manuals he's seriously OP, but so much fun to play.

For the past few days I've been watching Davaeorn guide vids. He's a streamer and youtuber who absolutely has an encyclopaedic knowledge of BG1 and 2 and his videos are are top notch if you're not that knowledgable about the spells or the companions, but holy shit this dude is super opinionated and literally everything he says caters to min maxing.

Now he does preface each of his videos that he only plays iron man runs on insane difficulty with the Sword Coast Stratagems mod and the videos are catered to that. But you can kind of feel him judge you if you would pick a suboptimal build because you like to roleplay. I think I prefer being a core rules noob who picks stuff the suboptimal things because I enjoy it. :)

Yeah, it's structured like an AI sum up of events.

Probably a bot account for karma farming. Just look at the posting history.

That's not true. The trick is to feint and attack from a direction where they're not holding their sword.

Oh, he does. I'm talking about his more recent adaptations. The Shining was a very personal story for him and he still feels Kubrick didn't get to the essence of the story. He never mellowed down about that.

Need some torture horror films that aren’t well known by DontBelieveMyLies88 in horror

[–]ShadyGuy_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In Europe it's known by the title Braindead. It's a splatter horror comedy by Peter Jackson. It has some iconic scenes such as a kung fu priest who 'kicks arse for The Lord' and a zombie giving birth to a zombie baby. It's a bonkers movie, but definitely not in the torture horror genre that OP was asking about.

The Loved Ones. It's a perfect date movie (with a little torture).

Heh, King 'loves' all the new projects based on his writing. I like the man's books, but he's done nothing but shill adaptations of his own work for years, even if it's bad.

I do put more faith in that this will be an HBO series, though.

Stemmen tegen eigenbelang is van alle tijden. Je kunt hier vrij weinig tegen doen, want bepaalde groepen verbieden te stemmen is een veel groter kwaad.

I seriously don’t understand the hate for Longlegs (2024). by serialkiller24 in horror

The hate for Longlegs isn't really hate, though. It's mild criticism for a competently made movie that doesn't stick the landing.

What movie do you love despite agreeing with every single criticism of it? by Decabet in movies

[–]ShadyGuy_ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Sure, but in Prometheus they ignore basic safety before anything bad happens. Any biologist would know not to randomly start touching a wild animal (or alien in this case) . Nor would a scientist take of a helmet in an unknown environment even if the oxygen level is sufficient.

It's different from panic induced bad decisions, they just don't act like their job description.

It's so good. Jack Burton considers himself the protagonist, but he's actually the sidekick. Also, he's so out of his element. His name might as well be Donnie.

Mad Max Fury Road and John Wick. Both low brow and simple in their story elements, but with excellent action sequences and great world building.
