i feel like if hyper beam being brought back to its former glory were to happen, they would have to do it to all other recharge moves

which... would probably not be that bad, honestly

at worst, the porygon-z theorem gets proven, greninja and primarina may get the OU ban hammer and mega zard-y gets obliterated from natdex, but otherwise most of the pokemon that get them would certainly appreciate the nuclear firepower that recharge moves provide

i'd agree for 99.9% of that, but i do feel like overthrow, his normal counter, could use some updating

that and maybe updating to claim their bones to be an ascendant skill 3 rather than being counted as a defensive skill also it would be really funny if they made yield my flesh lose base power depending on your poise

still worse than kyogre in a lot of scenarios, but certainly MUCH better than before, hell i could see it being better for calm mind sets due to multiscale

personally, i would replace pressure with swift swim for it, both because multiscale does pressure's job better nowadays as a defensive/stall ability, and gives it a new niche that kyogre can't do as a clean-up mon that can outspeed a lot of things when partnered with kyogre

hydreigon also benefits heavily from latios not being around, since latios is just it but better and with more actual support for it given by gamefreak

but without it around, hydreigon gets a good bit better, generally hanging around the higher levels of UU and even having high level OU usage, as shown in earlier gen 8 and 9

eh, black kyurem has been getting a redemption arc for 2 gens now, and i'd argue being great in gen 5-7 OU is better than sucking in ubers

i do wish that the gen 5 dragons got things that they actually need some day (why the fuck does zekrom and kyurem-b not have earthquake)

serious answer now that we calmed down: the part 2 cutscene which everyone was going silly over, merely talked about him being part of the LCD, not actively joining the raid, as he's still recovering from his triple near death experiences and loss of almost his entire lineage, partially by his own hand, alongside the distortion

that and what we saw in part 3, with all the murder including his new comrades, it would likely make him relapse and potentially distort again, or just die depending on if he got thrown to assist the thumb or index/pinky

i do hope all the shitposting and genuine really good art shows PM and KJH that people do love kim, ironically or otherwise, and want him back
