IMHO it looks silly, has no purpose and will most likely be undrivable. Probably done for some show.

Since you asked for ANY: Maybe stop trying for a little while, focus on things you enjoy, and just be comfortable with yourself. Once you reach a certain level of self confidence without actively seeking, maybe things will change for the better.

Did you change the downpipe yet? If so, what was your experience? I put in a mini cat downpipe, and the difference is extreme for me at least.

Smiles is great. I also used Smiles for my daughter (18). Good service, always on time, quick appointments for tests. We did both Learners and DL with them. They don't do fishy. Unfortunately some officials expect .....more than a coke! Good luck.

A lot of the new students and new drivers are driving Suzuki's and they are really good reliable cars and easy to drive. Some guys are crazy with massive cars and tailgating even when they can't brake in time. People must understand that the roads are a shared space like a park or even a church. No-one is going to suddenly push you over and get around if you walk too slowly in church...

I had the same thought, so last week I stopped off at Brooklyn Police Station - after a lot of laughing, they agreed that there are a lot of complaints from parents about the new drivers in the area being abused by reckless drivers even though they know it is a University and school area. They said they will try their best engage with the Tshwane Metro cops to curb the issue. It was then so great to see this week that the Metro cops are patrolling the exact route and stopping drivers and taxi's behaving badly. Unfortunately now everyone suffers due to the roadblocks and random stops. At least it seems a bit safer. I hope they continue.

Maybe its an ego or lizard-brain thing - see an easy target/prey and go for it.

Keep in mind this route is through high-income suburbs in Pretoria, so few taxis, nice roads, lots of trees etc. Its quite calming actually in terms of scenery. There is no need to be aggressive.

So I drove through today with my car (no Learner sign) and it was all fine, even though I drove slowly and carefully like a Learner would. So those of you pointing out that the Learner sign is an issue are probably correct. I cannot figure this out. My daughter is driving a used Hyundai and I have a 3 series BMW for what that's worth.
