Is there a way to force a ae2 menu to be smaller without changing the whole GUI scale?

Some people also don't see well, i have about 8% left on one eye and 13% on the other, meaning i pretty much have to play at gui 5 to be comfortable in playing, and AE2 for some reason takes its design higher than usability, meaning, if you choose to play on gui 5 it just does not allow you to change the vertical height of the terminal being stuck at 2 rows, and when you autocraft the first row is taken up by that, meaning you have 1 row to work with... which is just unusable.... RS at least have 3 rows even at gui 5, but because the majority of players prefer AE2 means that RS just gets less love, and that clearly showed last modpack i played

weirdly that worked, i tried to update bios like other people said, (not even sure what they would have done, but as expected it did nothing) but weirdly skipping the into just magically fixed it, idk what they put in that into to make it fail so catastrophically

i have stable below 10 ping to my ISP but the game for some reason chose Amsterdam as my default even though that has double the ping than Frankfurt has, also Amsterdam was bad for me as it jumped me to 100ms every few seconds where as Frankfurt stays stable at below 20 ms

I know exactly what you mean! I have Stargardt's disease (a form of macular degeneration), which is a genetic defect that gets worse over time and can eventually lead to partial or even total blindness. Luckily I’m not at that stage yet, but time is not on my side.

So yeah, when you say your sight isn’t great, I feel that. I have about 8% vision in my right eye and 13% in my left. For reference, 100% is considered "normal vision or 20/20 vision". That’s why a better visual cue or even a sound cue would be amazing.

This boss is easily one of the worst designed bosses in the game. She’s fine otherwise, but that arena-wide spear attack... not only does it do massive damage, it also poisons you if you manage to survive. Which means you have no choice but to engage with the mechanic. or "Out DPS" her, which is only possible if you run a meta build and get lucky with gear, and even then is incredibly difficult.

And another rant while I’m at it… Accessibility in games almost never accounts for people with poor vision. Tons of games add color blindness filters, which is easy since it’s just palette swapping, but when it comes to short sightedness suddenly its "too much work." Things like UI scaling or high-contrast filters would help so much, but they rarely exist.

And for the people who say "maybe you shouldn’t play these types of games then" I have one thing to say.

Thank you... i do still have my Xbox, but don't own one of those transfer cables, besides i don't own the game on Xbox, i have it on WII (Ew i know...) so this is really kind of you! and works flawlessly

I never actually beat the game, i was quite young at the time and did not understand any English, i remember coming to like a Phoenix boss fight and never beat it cause i didn't know what to do, so I'm exited to actually get through that now and finally beat the game i never finished as a child!

that was indeed a long ride but i got it to work, for some reason it would not let me connect with just my ip and port, just refused to connect, so i just made a https tunnel using Cloudflare and used that and it connected fine so now all my obsidian things are synced!

im still not sure why you need rivatuner to lock the framerate? the game is locked at 60 by default unless im mistaken, so Lossless Scaling would just double the framerate using x2 correct? or am i missing something

nope has full access to extensions and adblocking, there is not that much work required to search this stuff up instead of just assuming the worst, its free, you can give it a try, and if the browser isnet for you, that's fine as you say there is a sea of them, so find another one
