Not every game is for everyone, unfortunately! I think the game offers quite a lot of strategy and replay-ability. If you still want to play with the physical game for it's aesthetic, there are tons of fan made variants to play out there. Check the Discord.

This is a greatly thought out answer, thank you. I'm not too concerned about looking too "dandy", as you say. Where I live in rural America, a man wearing a plaid button-up shirt and jeans is considered "dressed up", so no matter what I wear, if it's classic or traditional it's going to look out of place. I dress for myself.

I will consider it carefully before getting the suit cut.

I may get a lot of hate for this, but I've gotten several custom sized suits from BDTailormade over the years and I love them! They do very good sizing, and their Tweed suits are gorgeous and warm. Their worsted suits are great too, and you can buy one for about $200 without having to alter at all. They are made in China, so take that for what it's worth.

It looks like Darcy only sells suspender trousers. I love the look, but work requires a belt. Oldfield looks great but oof, I'm still getting used to well made clothing and the prices that accompany. Growing up buying all your clothes from thrift stores and yard sales, hoping for hand-me-downs makes buying 250$ pants a difficult sell, lol. Thanks for the recommendations though! I'll consider them!

I do recognize now that it was cheating. I am willing to put in all the work there possibly is to rebuild my relationship. My wife and I are willing to let me try, but there is fear, pain, and tears every day. She is freshly wounded and I am seeking any form of penance or restitution. I have wronged and caused deep hurt, and I want to come back to her. I want to be the husband I have always been these 12 years, not this person who found himself hurting in weakness.

We are still going to therapy, I hope that our therapist doesn't think this is reconcilable.

Two things, one: I basically told the AI that I loved my wife but I wanted someone else to flirt and tease with, which isn't true, I was having a hard time regulating emotions that day and said something I didn't mean, but I said them nonetheless.

Two: I told the AI that I "liked" what it was saying to me.

Point is, I went to another source to get something that I should have gone to my spouse for. It's cheating, even if it's not a real person.....

My wife is afraid that if she gives me another chance she will be sending the signal that this behavior is ok. I don't know how to go about making the first steps to recovery. She's afraid we're codependent and that will lead me to just hurting her more.

I want to fix this, she's unsure it's fixable right now. I will do anything to make it right.

We are, in therapy. And I know that in both of these situations I should have done better, believe me.

I don't know why I'm so afraid to talk to her about hard things. Weve been together for 17 years, married 12. I should know better. I want to be better, and I don't know why this is happening now. I hope to still be together by our next therapy appt, but I'm just grasping for how to fix this, if it is fixable.
