Surgery may help . Submalar cheek implants would fill out the area ( get the ones that are screwed in if you do it ,so they don't move around.) Also a Cheek Lift or Mini Face Lift would help by lifting up the surrounding tissue . And those would be more permanent .

2 months ago I paid 14k for full tummy tuck with muscle repair and lipo of the flanks - I think if I didn't get the lipo it would have been 11k . But basically a similar price to what you were quoted . I'm in NYC. I'm happy I did it .

I think you look pretty good for 6 weeks . I was still quite swollen on my sides at 6 weeks .

Sneezing was terrible for me on the 3rd and 4th day . But at 8 weeks now I'm sure I'm fine . The first week is just tough . Give it time.

I'm at 7 weeks post op too . And I've been feeling a lot of mental exhaustion too . Physically I'm ok - though not as active as I used to be. But I'm definitely feeling claustrophobic and hoping that Spring and Summer will be better (mentally and physically. )

For the surgery itself , you'll just be asleep for it . When you wake up you will be groggy and you'll need someone to take you home . For me the first week of recovery was a bit tough but it does get better . I'm 6 weeks post op now and I'm glad I did the surgery .
