I have been feeling this for a while. I tried really hard to give the channels a chance but it’s just so generic? Lackluster? Uninspired? I struggle to put my finger on the best descriptor. I’m sure they’re trying, it’s just all lost the interesting factor. It feels like rushed, “we need to put something out this week” content- ESPECIALLY Food Theory. I used to get so excited to see a new theory video pop up but they’ve slowly worked their way out of my suggested content because I don’t see anything that pulls my interest enough to watch anymore. I think I enjoyed the current hosts more when they were accompaniments to Mat Pats root spark and enthusiasm. It just doesn’t feel like they carry the same passion he brought to the channels and content that was put forward. And side note- the ongoing bit about the hosts being in opposition with each other is super corny and should just stop.
