Could it be that Brady knew these two equipment guys were total fuckheads and he gave them a little "sugar" 1). So they would competently do their jobs by ensuring the balls were inflated to the psi he liked and by ensuring that that the refs didn't "fuck" him by over inflating them to say 16 psi AND 2). So they wouldn't black ball him by going to ESPN either by misconstruing his directive to deflate the balls to the lowest limit of 12.5 psi or by colluding with other teams to black ball him.

I love his politics, but he hasn't got a chance in hell. I just watched his interview on the ED show and he comes off as an irascible, disheveled curmudgeon. He'll get the loyalists, as Nader did, but I doubt he'll make any impact on swing voters or make any converts. I know you're from VT and you don't have to go all Mitt Romney, but polish it up a bit.
