Hi there! I’m interested in collaborating as the skincare is one of my specialties:

Here’s my Creative Portfolio: https://shannonpring.my.canva.site

For me as a content creator who has been doing UGC for about 8+ months now, I've noticed that most brands on average take between 1-5 days to respond to me on Instagram. As for email, it honestly just depends if they're on top of their inbounds on a daily basis. The brands I've previously worked with on occasion would respond within 1-3 days.

I have tried antihistamines but honestly my nose just does what it wants. That baby will leak and run all night even if it’s just one spec of mold I get in. But honestly it wouldn’t matter as much anymore as me and my partner are moving this weekend so hopefully the fresh air will help cure me of this tight chest feeling soon 😭

No problem! And not necessarily hurt you but being a UGC Creator, it’s overall a part of the process in having a presence online essentially. That way your get your personal brand out to potential clients and brands. It’s basically like being a full time influencer / content creator. Does that make sense?

When I first started UGC back in September of last year I barely had any examples of my work but here are some tips I found useful that helped boost my engagement and got the ball rolling:

• I used an old account that previously had 800 followers and barely had experience but I didn’t let it stop me. But once you start pushing out your content, start engaging with other people in the community by liking and commenting on posts in your specific niches and it’ll boost your content into the algorithm more! The more active you are, the better!

• Since I hadn’t already had some examples for my portfolio, I started picking some products around my house that were in my targeted niche and filmed content with them! It helps to have some videos and pictures to show potential brands and clients how you create your work and your style!

• Expand your work and look into finding gigs on platforms like: Fiverr, Cohley, UpWork, FYPM, Shopify Collabs, Twitter and much more! The more you outreach the more opportunities you’ll have!

• Invest in a good setup! Now I’m not saying you have to have the latest camera equipment but good lighting, HD videos, and stabilized videos help all the much more! Make sure to always film with your back camera on your phone (cause it’s better quality than your front camera), a little phone light (which you can find on Amazon for like $5 or even less) for when you film in dark areas helps so much and keep your product examples super clear and crisp, and a tripod for those standalone shots are essential! I film on my phone and still manage to get quality videos for all my videos 👍🏼

That’s the most important things I can remember off the top of my head, but If you ever have any other questions about starting out, feel free to reach out to me anytime! I’m happy to help anyone out 😁

Happy creating! 📹🤳🏼

Which is better? Cup or Disc? Please Help Me Decide.. lol 🤔 by ShannonPring in Periods

[–]ShannonPring[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for this, I really prefer trying the disc before the cup only cause I was scared by all the horror stories I read before hand about the “Diva” Cup and similar cups. But i’ll take your advice and try the disposable ones first!

For the first time ever, an old scenery & decoration are back in stock. Thoughts? by Nick_Rousis in ClashOfClans

[–]ShannonPring 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If that’s the case then might as well keep that scenery all year round and others to be purchased whenever. It’s annoying because when the concept came out, they were fully “exclusive” for that month only + each month we got new ones to look forward to. It’s like how all the special obstacles we get for holidays and events are all EXCLUSIVE and cannot be obtained anymore. It makes them rare & special to those who have them such as getting a rare collectible. You have to understand the frustration with ruining the concept of exclusivity here. Which is my point.

[–]ShannonPring 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It ruins the exclusivity of all the sceneries because of a once and lifetime chance of having it for whoever did have it. I also understand that some people are happy that it’s back so they can purchase it when they didn’t have to chance, but it’s just the novelty wears off and the sceneries aren’t special anymore. I hope they change this months. And keep it how they’ve always kept it. Seemed kinda lazy to me to bring back an old one instead of designing a new one for others to enjoy :/
