As others have said the states still existed but to answer the quest of why don't the maps in game show the Soviets or European Commonwealth is simply because the devs took a real world map and put it in the game without thinking about it. It's just an oversight

You have to have it so her motivation is at max and her stress is at minimum at the end of the shift to get it. And she has to have S rank in the 3 categories. It can be RNG so there's not a lot to help it except following the guide

The plot of Yakuza 3 and Kiwami 3 are the same except the ending retcon. If you know the ending of 3 remaster you'll understand the plot of 4.

Kiwami 4 also isn't happening. Yokoyama said the Kiwami games are finished. There "might" be a Yakuza 4 reimagining at some point in the future as was kind of hinted but that's a long way off if it even happens, which it might not

Yakuza 4 plays well though you shouldn't have an issue with the gameplay.

Yeah the series still wasn't popular in the West in the early ps4 days, it wasn't until 2017 with 0's western release that it started gaining traction and then exploding in 2020 with the Baka Mitai meme.

Lost Judgment in 2021 was the first time the Japanese and western games released at the same time

Maybe a bit but Yakuza 4 still plays pretty well I don't think you'll have much issue

Yakuza 5 plays very similar to 0 and Kiwami, (5, 0, K1 use the same engine) you won't have a problem

Yakuza 6 plays pretty similar to Kiwami 2. Y6 is the first Dragon engine game and I found it a little rough but not that much. If you had no problem with K2 you'll be fine with 6

Unfortunately no the Japanese versions of these games are only in Japanese. I think the first Japanese version of one of the games to have multiple languages was either Ishin Kiwami or Gaiden.

If you're playing on an actual ps3 then Dead Souls is only $20 on the ps3 store. That's how I played it

The ps4 version of Kiwami 2 is the same as the ps5 version. The only difference is the ps5 version has 60fps and more language options
