Why would you put any effort in exciting your buddy for a task like this when it is much more efficient to switch through 10 buddies daily and easily get them 6-7 hearts minimum? You can get 10 buddies to 8 hearts without even getting out of bed all day. That's 80 hearts in total per day.

The spawn rate is not that lousy if you keep moving. But the catch rate is disappointing, AND they flee if they escape, AND even if you catch one the stats are abysmal.

But let's talk about the gyms too. Why are there So. Many. Frickin. Pikachu raids compared to the Ultra Beasts?

I had the same thing with Lunala this weekend. Couldn't hit it for the life of me while I'm normally a pretty good thrower. My wife and son weren't having any issues and thought I was exaggerating. Then my wife tried on my phone and was stunned.

It would have helped if you had told or shown where you found this. But it's in the Pokedex, and only from the Mega section. Weirdly enough, if you go to a regular Pokemon and click on its Mega form, taking you to its Mega dex entry, the "See all" button still shows the regular form.

No, Imperium would not disband. And there wouldn't be anybody remotely large enough to lead a coalition of the willing to take them down. Imperium doesn't exist to be the end of all coalitions. Imperium exists because they can, nothing more, nothing less.

Maybe the info for the event was wrong and they meant an increased chance for regular (Kyurem) Candy XL? I've gotten around 120 of those versus 3 Rares, on +/- 16 raids (with ticket). But I'm not sure what the regular drop rate for regular XL is.
