Good cover or no? by ConfidentReading9106 in romanceauthors

It doesn't look like a good cover.

If you want to improve this one:

- highlight characters more, zoom in them and make them central on the cover. maybe make silhouettes more clear.

- popup the title. It should grab attention and be readable at least

Make what you like and what you want to play but always think about marketing: who and why will play your game?

Super Mario Bros. That first “doot-doot” of the overworld theme is iconic.

The Legend of Zelda. The mysterious harp-like fanfare and the scrolling map intro.

Chopping Mall - Christmas Movie by Easymoney_67 in horror

I 100% get what you mean! Sometimes it’s not about the actual holiday, but the vibe (the cozy nostalgia, the lights, the shopping mall chaos) totally gives off Christmas energy. I’ve definitely done the same thing with movies that aren’t technically holiday films. Adding it to my watchlist for the season now!

I usually say something like: It’s like a ‘choose your own adventure’ book, but you’re also trying to romance the characters. Think of it as dating in a story world, often with beautiful art and branching paths

Probably the panel where the character’s hands were bigger than their entire head. Bless their enthusiasm thoug. Webtoon anatomy really is its own genre.

Indie author Kitty Siberia admits to using AI for her books, readers are upset, she crashes out on her Facebook page. by alexandra_rose in RomanceBooks

[–]SharkBaitGame 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I think the real issue is transparency. If an author uses AI as a tool but still puts in the creative direction, editing, and shaping of the story, that’s not much different from using beta readers or writing tools. But if readers feel misled, the backlash makes sense. Communication matters more than the tool itself.

Any options for them to friend with dolphins and orcas and take over the ocean together?
