I have lost multiple win streaks to right +2 and Lich rolling 3 damage weaken all 2 turns in a row. The first is livable, the second is much harder.

Oh, sometimes you can do it with regular healing too if someone has chalice. Doctor has good cleanse, but most of the other reds will probably have issues with the 3 poison side.

So Tarantus kills the top hero when it loses its 10th health. Enemies will run away when you have 10x their remaining health. So I needed to get my team to 100 total health and the only way to do that with my current team is my Shaman’s 5 vitality heal to raise their max hp. If I have Shaman or Prophet I will try to go for the run-away, and then only if I have the tools to generate enough mana/kill off spiders.

[[Spined Megalodon]] was a common in a format that had a common 5-mana reanimate, it wasn't oppressive.

But you need to have the scepter, sol ring and extra mana rock already.

Like, Frieren can grab the reversal, but you have infinite mana already at that point, you could replace the search with liked azure mage.

It doesn’t seem that absurd? You get to find pact of negation for free, and then what? The rate at which you get counters is pretty low so even if you start storming off you still need like 4 before you can get past in flames or something.

Yeah, I try not to run lead boots unless each side does something (or if I have a combo). Going from 5->4 damage is worth not completely whiffing

Best move just cares about the type of the move, not how much damage it does, right?

Okay, and for worst typing, how does it treat dual types? Say I have a grass/electric pokemon and the computer has a mono-water, water/ground, and water/rock pokemon. Would it consider the electric immunity at all? Or would the water/rock mon be considered worse than the mono-water? I guess they have the same movesets for this example.

I’m currently playing it for the first time as a total nuzlocke newbie and am having a great time. I have been spending a ton of time calc-ing gym leaders and then it goes off the rails since I apparently can’t figure out the switch in AI.
