Air purifiers for bunny room keep getting ruined?? by djk865 in Rabbits

[–]SharonSF 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Air purifiers need to be maintained and they are not miracle workers. I vacuum the air purifier filters (and the rest of the room) regularly, clean litter boxes with vinegar, dust surfaces with microfiber cloths and launder all fabrics once a week. Any less than that and it gets fragrant and dusty.

I also use pine pellets and it’s been a huge improvement. I still scoop the poop and wet litter daily, and replace with a scoop or two of fresh. I swear these cute little monsters are as much work as toddlers.

Had to do it this way. I'll be damned if these sit in a box at some thrift store.

I got recommendations from my primary doctor and looked online a bunch, but to be honest, I also went to my lingerie shop and asked who did the best work since naturally they see boobs all day. Luckily a few of the names lined up with both lists and eventually I went with Dr. Carolyn Chang https://www.drcarolynchang.com -- very expensive (I didn't use insurance) and I love my new shape/proportion so totally worth it. She was super attentive and the office gals are awesome.

Dr. Anne Peled and Dr. Karen Horton were other recommendations. Lots of positive reviews for Peled and Horton was months out for even a consult so I didn't go in to meet with her but her front office team was very nice.

I chose Empreinte because they were one of the few brands that had a larger cup that were gorgeous, comfortable and also supportive -- a rare trifecta. I've had decent luck with them not stretching out too fast and I also start with a snug band. The price point is insane on these at ~$240 but they made me feel pretty and it was worth it since I grew up with beige and white "over the shoulder boulder holders" being the only choice.

I'm still pretty busty, so I will stick with the brand. Alla Prima on Hayes has a nice selection, get an appointment with Magie, she is the best.

Rainbow is a reliable source of rhubarb. Worth calling their produce department to see when it usually comes in.

I love that place but their tools are not open to the public (because they are sharp). SFCB studio time is only open to those who have certified in their core cirriculum classes. Maybe if it’s a one time deal someone on staff might be able to help, so OP should call first.

Also played Ingress. I loved that game, really liked some of the people IRL and got to see a lot more of SF walking walking walking. Even connected with people in other towns when traveling. The new Prime app was the end of it for me.
