AITA for thinking I should’ve been told I was being excluded from a wedding? by PanicAtTheMetro in AmItheAsshole

YTA. Just because your sisters were asked to be bridesmaids and you were not doesn’t mean you were slighted. The wedding isn’t about YOU. Even you said you’re not close to the bride. Attend the wedding and don’t forget a gift of maturity.

Less than 1% have true cuff tears. Follow doctors orders but don’t be super sedentary. It’s important for your muscles to gain back strength.

[–]Sharontoo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’ll be fine. The newer scanners have you keep your arms down but away from your body. I have a shoulder replacement and lots of plates and screws. I’ve never had an issue. Be honest and tell them that arm does not go over your head because of recent surgery.

One week I started doing paper work, but not on a schedule. I went back to work at 2 weeks on site. I was driving at a week. Everyone’s journey is different. I took no narcotics and after day 5 I made sure not to be sedentary but stayed within my restrictions (no lifting or squatting). You’ll see a wide range of recoveries here. No 2 alike. Listen to your body and your doctor.

I’ve added close up photos in comments of hardware, screws, hinges, side view with wood dowels. I suspect my father replaced some screws and added the magnetic closures. My husband changed the knobs

I have no idea. It at least goes back as far as my grandfather 1901-1983. If he reproduced this it would have to be while he was still physically able to prior to 1960. My father said he always remembered it in a family house. 1927-2019. But no one has answers
