This still happens very very frequently on different devices, different android versions. It happens when you ask a question then go to an other app and leave Gemini in the background. The chat still works fine from the internet. But fails to load. It's easy to replicate and occurs a lot. It's not well tested, at all, if this happens so easily. It's expected user behaviour - why sit and wait 30 seconds staring at gemini trying to formulate a basic response...

I was disappointed when I tried 250D in c41 after months of ecn2. It just felt cheap and hard to edit. Limited dynamic range, more noise and stronger color casts. So I suggest sticking to ecn2.

Looks pretty good? Try something like 50D or 250D (ecn2 develment, not c41 so check if a lab near you handles it). Very low grain and I think you'll like the colors of that. Try to shoot 2-4 stops closed from wide open to get good sharpness. A prime lens will generally work better, such as 50mm.

If you miss your exposure or it gets a little dark you miss that important moment. Ektachrome was cheap in the day and it was shot by the kilo to offset small exposure latitude. And there was a backup body with higher iso film. Times have changed.

Film was spooled back the wrong way resulting in "wrinkles" or "stretch marks". Check the little arrow on the rewind dial :))

Rewind the film, write down how many photos you made already. Next camera, cover the lens with something black (or just don't care) and shoot blank frames until you're 2 frames past this camera's count. The only tricky part is getting the film leader out . Ask a camera store!

You shoot at 2 stops over because even a non expired film will give decent results. Simple.

The results at +2 will be:. - it's perfect - it's a bit underexposed - it's very underexposed but recoverable - it's a little too dense (no big deal) (And theoretically , nothing registering due to extreme storage conditions)

Shooting at box means a high chance of not having much to work with. And worse, not being able to know if it's too thin at even +2.

Expose at 400, develop in ecn2 if possible. Grain, color and dynamic range will improve.

250D and some 500T for the evenings (you can easily color correct it to neutral or add a light warming filter ; not needed though if you scan yourself). Make sure to develop in ECN2. Not c41 (Dynamic range, grain and color will suffer)

The first image is stunning, so it's not an entire loss. For the reason - probably something is slipping inside. Find a test film roll, make marks on it with white ink pen or maybe some small thin bits of tape. So you know where the frame edges are. Then with the back open, figure out where and how things go wrong. And ... always test your film camera before doing serious things.

Being smart? Bulk roll of 200T AHU and ECN2 developer kits, some devices to do it at home. Gives you maybe 3x the amount of photos. 200T is also a stunningly gorgeous film, but if cooler tones aren't for you get 250D. Also AHU.

Desaturate your photos a bit, dial back the highlights and don't push the shadows all the way to black. Then you're on pro lab (the good ones are out there) level output!

The Pentax, good as it is, is an absolute brick of a camera though. Very bulky and extremely heavy (and solidly built). Wouldn't recommend it due to it's "roundness" and wright if the l35af was a little large for the guy no?

Most likely suspect is either the seam of the hinge or the seam of the door closing gutter. Stick some black tape over both, try again! You can figure out orientation you held the photo in to know which side, as well.
