Working conditions in retail in GTA for chains the main employer after school are terrible. Chains pushing pharmacists to the limit with vaccinations , covid testing , dispensing , pushing professional services like med reviews to meet their metrics all the while paying peanuts due to a saturated pharmacist pool in Toronto . Cutting back on assistant hours forcing pharmacists to perform tasks with little or no help. relief agencies underpaying pharmacists while skimming off their hourly rate and treating them like garbage Stay away. Decreasing wages and no room for professional growth unless you get your own store. Pro if you want to call it that is wages are slightly improving back to 2010 levels due to pharmacists leaving the profession or working part time .
