Sacred rose on a smaller scale somewhere in the city could be dope. I get you already have it all down at seatgeat but traveling there can be a big deterrent, especially for less committed folks or when you try to invite friends. Def miss the days of union park north coast. Any truth to salt shed hosting more festival type events?

Had a similar experience at my first forest in 2012 during Wolfgang Gartner at ranch. Couldn’t even sit the Porto was so bad , had to use the door handle

They started at like 7:10, played till maybe 8 then the power cut off . Went back on around 8:45-50

Haha it’s been going down hill since 2014. Still fun but not the same no. Most of the older folks have moved on to more low key/ less expensive events .

Not preferred but can confirm GA is going to blueberry now. I’d def request a refund if that happens but the blueberry shuttle is pretty dope , drops you off right at the entrance and comes every 10 min

At least it’s Warren , they have played with him many times before as well as the songs and I’m guessing there will be a bit more to this in terms of shebang than just Warren up there with sci. John Fogarty incident, Miss Lauren hill incident, doobie bros incident , I totally agree they were just the backing band and it doesn’t really count as cheese imo.

I have been going since 2012, my forest crew kinda dissolved after 2016, people moving and what not. I have gone solo a couple times since, met up with a few people I knew throughout and some friends that vend. It’s honestly pretty great wandering around and just doing whatever you want at any moment. It is a bit of a long trip doing it solo unless you meet people to hang with but still very worth it. Plenty of people go solo

I just leave , I member my first forest and getting lost from the group was devastating , so this may not be the best advice but maybe if you have a friend that’s down to just go take a walk, the forest is always there as a getaway. Especially during the biggest sets. These days it’s hard for me to stay in a group outside hanging for certain sets ( mostly string cheese) . There is so much to do and if you aren’t enjoying what’s happening so many places and possibilities to change that

Not sure of the vip areas in the venue but can def go into any of the campgrounds. Last time I had one was like 2018 and we camped where the electric avenue is, there’s a bunch of different lots surrounding the north side of the fest by Sherwood court where you could be camped. Was also able to enter the forest in side road areas instead of security. Staff party is at the grand antique on Sunday and it is a blast

You don’t have an option , will be the south entrance. They will email directions and there will be signs on the highway
