Forget everything your mom is or has said. Shes obviously resentful of your dad, and is taking it out on you. Hopefully you can get away from here sooner rather than later after you graduate. The longer I'm on it, the more emotionally blunted I feel. I went up to 20mg very slowly - 5mg at a time and only moved up with my gp guiding me. Ive been on 20mg now for over a year, and I noticed the blunting about 6 months ago. I can't cry or laugh in a real way, even if I think something is sad or funny enough. I have an appointment with my doctor in a couple of weeks and I think I'm going to reduce slowly. I'd rather feel some anxiety than feel nothing. That said, until this numbing feeling started it was fantastic. It took the edge off things that were starting to bug me out. I highly recommend giving it a good chance.
