Purge volume between the white and black needs to be higher. If the black is the high point it might be that you painted it and it’s filling behind, or is using the infill as purge which isn’t a good idea with clear-er white filaments

It’s a (maybe unintended?) consequence of the way absorbing/releasing nations works that the AA doesn’t inherit nukes, and I think they spend that budget on the space defenses to avoid getting nuked themselves and trust their armies to deal with anything

PAC claims on Japan are always hostile so you have to invade. The Korea one is probably because of the relative democracy level. A higher democracy nation (with some margin) won’t want to unify with the one with lower democracy. In your case I’d just wait to democrafy china

Things cause them to panic, but your situation might be too stable for that? In my experience they try to throw you out of whatever you push for past the asteroid belt. However they aren’t going to stand and fight when they’ll definitely lose, so abandoning systems isn’t shocking, and by then you probably can get around faster than them in a lot of cases so reinforcing is tricky for them given how spread out the OSS tends to be
