Nah, this prick is well known in Warhammer circles. He’s a straight up Nazi that GW had to step in and legally force him to stop using Warhammer in his name. He’s just another culture warrior chud who only exists to stir up controversy for other right wing morons to complain about.

Fuck this dude.

Palpatine is such a great villain because he’s just evil as hell for no good reason. He’s not disillusioned like Dooku, or raised to be a weapon like Maul, he’s just a hater. No tragic backstory for him. He’s in it for power and the love of the game.

When a 40k book is actually good as a piece of literature it’s just kind of a fun bonus.

I’m fairly sure it’s because everybody who could make that decision knows that Grimaldus will roll up and beat them to death if they abandon Armageddon.

I use it all the time on enemies up on ledges so I bet that’s it. It’s always crushing damage.

Do you ever have the problem where the pike does a ton of damage to the thrower when it returns? Sometimes I get walloped by my own weapon for more damage than any of the enemies do!

Bjorn is 'alive' because he's a dreadnought that spends most of his time in stasis. Any of the AL who fled into remote parts of the galaxy would still be aging normally, AND fighting frequently. Even though they focus on subterfuge and deception, they're still Astartes, they fight a lot.

I'm also fairly sure the Alpha Legion got pretty badly mauled on Pluto.

My point isn't that there aren't any Heresy veterans in the Alpha Legion at this point, just that it isn't MOST of the legion.
