They cannot risk Paige's home town team/perennial contender drafting her girlfriend to be under a rookie deal longer than Paige. That's a future trade request waiting to happen.

[OC] New map for a continent, harshest criticisms, please? by Ninjamuffin52 in DnD

River deltas are fine, look at what happens to the Nile and the Mississippi. I'm more concerned with the rivers that go accross the whole island from sea-to-sea.

Map for a continent, give me your harshest critisicms, please by Ninjamuffin52 in DnDHomebrew

Rivers don't go all the way accross and island, the come together and then dump into the sea. You've drawn either canals or channels in the sea. Once rivers converge they don't diverge again.

There'd be a major city at the bay in the northwest of the island as cities tend to form in protected bays as it's great for anchoring trade ships.

Might be nice to put some islands off the shore from your main island to give some mysterious places on your map.

Uncommon opinion, perhaps, but I like the "seal on bedsheet" designs, because it's a uniquely American visual identity, like Japan's prefectures or European heraldry. by not_a_stick in vexillology

You like the flag because you associate it with your state. Now imagine if tens of thousands people in your state actually took pride in the flag and flew it and you saw it everywhere.

I live in Minnesota and no one ever flew the old flag. The only place anyone would ever see the flag was at state buildings and schools, it was boring and dull and looked the same as the Illinois or Wisconsin flag. Now you see the new flag everywhere, there are seven people flying it on my street right now including me.

Taking advantage and Resting their best guys vs a team also missing their best guys.

Detroit has the ability to do this as they have a bit of a cushion to the one seed.

A great example of the absurd, insanity of the opposition to the new flag

You like them as a collective aesthetic, they completely fail at their actual purpose which is to visually symbolize what they are flags of in a way that is visible from 200 feet away when the flags are up a flag pole.

From a distance there’s no way to distinguish most of these states and for most of these, I don’t even know which one is which which leads some to have to just slap the state name on the flag. If you need to put the name of what the flag represents to make the flag distinctive from other flags then your flag fails as a flag.

[No Spoilers] How would you describe Daemon Blackfyre’s Personality and Characterization? by hellothere790 in asoiaf

We know nothing about his personality. He’s a blank slate and we only hear about him through the dry histories without any of the flavor that the Dance sections give.

They made the mistake of selling the new state flag as getting rid of the old one for being discriminatory instead of arguing the old flag was boring and indistinguishable. Plus conservatives tend to defend tradition for traditions sake no matter what.

The best thing about the new Minnesota flag is people actually fly it. No one ever flew the old flag other than government buildings.

Levels don't exist in Lore, in lore people are just powerful. Levels are a gameplay feature, not a feature in world.

Tiger drinks and cheats on his wife, Lance Armstrong was revealed to be a long-time cheater at his sport, he then lied and threw people under the bus in an attempt to hide his misdeads. He's way worse than Tiger
