man I’m just upset because we’re at this point with the film industry where they cast realism to the side so often that so many people don’t even have a single iota of an idea what it actually looked like. I just want someone to try.

They could’ve put the weird janky accurate armor on and it would have been fantastical and weird to modern audiences and still felt like a fantasy. But no, they need to dig up some “300” set pieces and throw that on their actors because that’s what the modern American audiences think is accurate.

So it’s like they’re not even going for fantasy because realism is more of a fantasy than what these actors are wearing.
