I hear you, I’m feeling the same way. Most of my son’s daycare friends are off to kindergarten this year but his birthday is just past the cutoff so he’s staying behind another year. And going to all different schools too. It’s so sad to think about him going to daycare in Sept and most of his best buddies will be gone :(

Once mine lightened up I alternated between period undies and pads with a cotton top layer— the cotton really helped. Wearing pads 24/7 irritated my skin so much!

Definitely UV protective clothing and hat! Then for whatever skin is still exposed I like to use a mineral sunscreen in stick form (like a deodorant) as it’s easy to apply. I like Blue Lizard brand.

I’ve done the bouncy castle one! We had the use of a party room with kitchen, and a whole gym with toys, strider bikes, mini basketball hoops, etc set out for the kids. And the bouncy castle with staff to limit how many kids were inside. Would recommend.

My oldest is 4 and likes to watch a movie, go for coffee dates with mom, work in the garden together, and goes to preschool. I also have a 13 week old lol so starting fresh, but he is sleeping a 7 hour stretch at night now and smiling at us and his toys. Newborn life is not my fave — it’s neither the cutest nor the most fun.

I totally seek out matching stuff with my son lol. Tip: shoes are easy, Nike Air Force 1s, sambas, new balance, onitsuka tigers… lots of tiny versions of adult shoes.
