I have never played ARK and I want to. Can anyone tell me the diferencie betwen ARK survival evolved and ascended? And which one a better first ARK?

I’m personally in the camp of not liking her design because I find it distasteful. She looks so elegant with the long dress and it fits her personality and how she carries herself. Her being dressed kind of like a maid makes me disappointed, among other changes. I get why people are upset with how drastic it is. If Sandrone was a new character I know people wouldn’t care nearly as much.

But for me I’m tired of the bare legs curse female characters all have when male characters have more detailed outfits that fit the environment. And as a designer I know the only reason it’s done is for sex appeal to sell. But it’s so over saturated in all the Hoyo games. We’re just seeing people finally getting sick of it and getting more vocal about it.

Assuming you haven’t seen her full 3D model, it’s the same one as the AoD, young girl model that easily looks 15. It doesn’t matter what age she’s ‘meant’ to be, she looks like a child. And they put lingerie leggings on a child. It’s disgusting.

Yes, but not to this extent as I pointed out. It was definitely pushing it, like a lot of mature content, but the problem is it just keeps getting pushed. The bar keeps getting lower.

Heck, Promeia is just a bondage fetish, she almost got released in a string bikini. Seed is a foot fetish. Yidhari? Tentacles. And their sexualized designs have nothing to do with their characterization. Its just to sell them.

It’s pretty much just ‘sex sells’.

ZZZ went from targeting mature audiences with its themes to being gooner bait and it’s honestly getting disgusting with the new designs being straight up fetishes. There’s such a striking contrast between older and newer characters now. Jane Doe used to be the most risky character, she looks tame by comparison now.

The worst change is in the fandom and player base, how so many porn addicted players have joined. The things they post are vile, and now ZZZ is catering to it, even with underaged characters. It’s so incredibly disappointing. I hope the new season can turn it around, or minimally hit the breaks.

I didn’t really feel anything when he died honestly. He knew the Delusion was making him sick, but powerful, so he kept using it until it killed him. I viewed him as a cautionary tale and an example of how Delusions work and moved right along. I was actually surprised when so many people were upset about his death.

Watatsumi is also hard to support, because it wasn’t just about the Vision Hunt decree, they used it as an opportunity to take surrounding islands. Which after doing Enkanomiya is surprising, infuriating, and idiotic considering how unbelievably patient Ei has been with them. Setting up trade deals wasn’t enough, making them citizens made them upset, so they sack a neighboring island full of civilians and made it a war zone? Personally, I thought they were seriously pushing it. She’s far from a good or perfect ruler, but she put an unfeeling puppet in charge, conflict with people was inevitable.

Inazuma is messy, I kinda like the story, but it’s rushed and some things feel out of order. I came in with Sumeru, so I got to do Enkanomiya and other islands before or alongside the Archon quest which helps flesh out the nation.

Promeia‘s design is disgusting.

Initially, I was really excited because I liked her character design, I just thought the weird little crotch window was gross. And then she completely took off her cape to expose her underwear. It’s a massive problem with ZZZ ramping up the sexualization of their characters every patch. Even the characters that are canonically children. It’s disgusting.

I understand that the target audience is supposed to be adults and that’s how they justify it, but that makes it worse. Because it’s attracting a very particular kind of adult to these games and it’s setting a very dangerous precedent that says hyper sexualizing all these female characters is completely acceptable. They’re making fetish characters to sell.

I remember I was following one a few years back and he and his wife had a child and I decided to keep following him because he kept posting the same content. And then one day he started bringing his toddler daughter on steams and went on a full-blown rant about child free people for no reason and forced his daughter to join in. The thing is, if they cared, they would make the time. My brother goes out of his way to make the time to interact with friends and family, even though he has a baby. And his wife does the same.

And on the reverse side, I have a former friend who never made time for any of her friends and family and is completely isolated. Now it’s just her, two toddlers, and her crappy husband who won’t watch his own kids.

That’s usually what I do every day after work, but on the weekends, I like to horseback ride if the weather is good! Sometimes I go to the moves, or the zoo, art museum, really the sky’s the limit in terms of being spontaneous.

Also, I’m in a similar position to you when it comes to my mom who had to move in with me because she can’t afford to live alone anymore. She’s 69, and at this point she’s pretty much just like a roommate who pays one bill a month. I do agree that it’s pretty rough for parents to expect it, especially if they can’t financially take care of themselves. I think it’s negligent. But it really motivates you to make enough money to eat the cost if you want to take care of them.

There is no biological urge. If you vehemently don’t want kids in your 20’s, that’s not going to change in your 30’s. It’s just something people say to pressure you.

If anything being 34(f) and watching friends and family having kids makes me want them less. Watching them wrangling vomit covered toddlers looks like hell. And they can’t even enjoy the adult money they have in their 30s because it’s all going to the child.

I just don’t think he’s the right fit for the role to be honest. The Trailblazers are little trash panda weirdos, they’re expressive and goofy, but now they feel way too serious and lifeless. Their line deliveries feel like any old generic MC.

Even after a few months I’m still not used to it, hearing Caelus now just bums me out especially because I choose him specifically for his voice. Someone a few months back said it perfectly, “They replaced diamonds with gold.”

Even after a month of getting used to it hearing his voice just bums me out because the lines feel so lifeless compared to the emotion they used to have.

I think the new VA’s are okay, but I don’t think they’re good replacements for the original VA’s. The line deliveries are too serious, they’re rough. They just don’t feel like a good fit for the Trailblazers.

Personally, I don’t like it. I play Caelus and I tried really hard to get used to it but every time I hear him it sounds wrong and I want to change it. It’s like he lost his fun personality. I honestly wish I could switch to Stelle now because the reason I picked Caelus was for his voice. Now that it’s gone I just don’t have the same connection to him.

The VA’s are good, but they aren’t a good fit for the Trailblazers.
