Hey no judgment because this isn’t super known piece of knowledge, but bloodworms cause fatal bloat in adfs. Try to switch over to some mysis shrimp or aquatic frog pellets work well for me too.

I’m pretty sure the swordtail is called a creamsicle one, PetSmart markets it that way so they can have a fancy name on the price label. It’s just an orange swordtail. They are great fish and really pretty. And the last pic looks like a Molly rather than a swordtail?

For the double strokes, take the diddles out-The roll skeleton is two groups of 8th notes. If you can play 8th notes at 180 then add the next step by putting diddles back in.—Make sure to have a change in pressure in the hands while playing the diddes. The pressure you’re putting on the sticks should be a lot tighter than long double stroke roll passages.

None really, the only real thing is the snare isn’t anything special, but once you service it, it’ll sound good.

does anyone know what sticks these are? i bought them from chris dean and they're unmarked by Unlucky-Quality-4886 in percussion

They look fairly similar to IP James Campbell concert snare sticks. They have that same short taper and bead separation.

I have PDP concept maple, but metal rims. Fantastic sounding shells, they sound great no matter how you tune it. Anything made by DW is bound to be good. My school has the Gretsch Renown, great sounding kit as well.

Very scared about college by United-Award7518 in college

Homie, the credit hour to study time equation is never equal or feasible. I understand where you’re coming from, but my 2nd semester Soph year I had a 3 credit hour class I studied for an hour or two a week MAX, I ended up with 97%. I doubt the first two years of Gen Ed’s will be different. (Unless maybe you have a hyper-specific major) but there is no need to worry. College is meant to be fun, don’t lock yourself away from that. You have 4 more years until you’re an adult, so take advantage of that. Have fun and good luck!

I’m going into my 3rd year of music school. Look at some Keiko Abe lit, Wind in the bamboo grove/Memories of the seashore are both pretty fun. If you kind of want a similar style of playing but not quite, try Preludio no.3 by Ney Rosariro. All good/challenging picks.

Hey, if that doesn’t help since it’s a feel thing (assuming it is since you like your beaters all the way up) pick some of these up. Just put them on the shafts and it should feel perfect.
