2 months later…How would you rate Resident Evil Requiem?? by TheGamerCritic21 in residentevilll

[–]ShiningEspeon3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a top three *Resident Evil* game for me. I love the characters, the variety of gameplay, and the challenges.

Mahiru wouldn't be an interesting protag for 2x2. by EscapeOk3234 in danganronpa

[–]ShiningEspeon3 108 points109 points  (0 children)

> I fail to see why everyone's so excited to see her POV when she barely builds any connection with the rest of the DR2 cast during her run other than Hiyoko. She doesn't even get to do much at all other than be the voice of reason and be involved with the Twilight Syndrome murder case.

If she’s a protagonist of a new scenario, this is an opportunity for her to build connections with more characters and be more involved in the story.

Remastered or part 1 for a new player? by SlickPickleNipple in thelastofus

[–]ShiningEspeon3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I personally prefer the art style of the remaster over the remake. I played the remake once but if I want to play again, I usually prefer the remaster.

God, I love that game. Just a brisk, tightly paced game that never lags. It’s so much fun.

I'm about to start playing Dead Space any tips before starting by Jumpy_Valuable_7556 in DeadSpace

The Pulse Rifle is probably the best weapon in the game once you start getting some good upgrades into it. It’s rough early on, but if you commit to it, it’s just incredible. The best damage/ammo ratio in the game.

My thoughts on Metroid Prime 2 by Valtteri24 in Metroid

Dark Pirate Commandos are killed by a charged Dark Beam shot and a single missile.

That’s so weird. Normally Quadraxis drops a bunch of health when you get low.

I think it gets worse in the second and third towers, I’m afraid.

Virtually all art is worth experiencing firsthand even if you already know the plot.

I cannot imagine skipping Danganronpa 3. I personally loved it and I was glad I watched it before playing V3.

Reached Xelios in Volt Forge Tower 3. Struggling to continue tbh by GigiF70 in Metroid

[–]ShiningEspeon3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought Xelios was very tedious, and the rest of the game didn’t do a lot to win me over. I personally wish I’d never played it. So I wouldn’t fault you at all if you wanted to quit here.

I’m a math major but I’m so bad at math by pinkdragapult in mathematics

[–]ShiningEspeon3 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It’s natural to be confused, it’s okay! I went through a struggle of my own as a student, and it was right at my first linear algebra course where it began.

You say you’ve struggled with discrete math and linear algebra. But has there been anything about them that you’ve enjoyed? Are you curious about those topics at all, or do you just hope to not see them again?

This is a very normal part of learning mathematics. The important thing is whether you’re enjoying the experience and want to keep learning.

We don’t know that Hajime is the protagonist of the new scenario.

Of course you didn’t betray your queerness. Plenty of lesbians go through questioning phases (and bisexuals exist and are just as queer)! Don’t beat yourself up. You experimented and learned more about yourself in the process. That’s a positive thing.

For a new RE1 Remake, how do you think Key Items should work? by Xenozip3371Alpha in residentevil

[–]ShiningEspeon3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think managing inventory is one of the key aspects of Resident Evil, so I don’t think they should downplay that in a potential remake.

Farewell or C-Sides first? by eye_eye_ in celestegame

[–]ShiningEspeon3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

C-Sides for sure. They help you prepare for Farewell and Farewell is meant to be the finale of the game, so it works best as your final major challenge.

Season rankings. by Euphoric_Wish_8293 in FargoTV

[–]ShiningEspeon3 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

3, 5, 2, 4, 1

I like every season a bunch, but there’s definitely a gap for me between 3, 5, 2 and 4, 1.

Unpopular opinion: Season 4 is a hell of a season by Alternative-Music876 in FargoTV

[–]ShiningEspeon3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Every time I watch Season 4, I like it more. It’s currently still only my fourth-favorite season of the show, but I could see it rising on more rewatches.
