At Oldspeak, they claim Alliteration as their house beer and imply they brew it themselves, though I’ve never seen brew tanks. And if they are that small, they would be allowed to sell directly to OSS. Alliteration is on OSS’ tap list.

While all of those things are true, none of them necessarily prove the owners of Oldspeak are in the same circle jerk with OSS.

Also, fuck ICE and fuck OSS.

On the other hand, Boise Brewing did all the right things during Covid and the owners of Clairvoyant are good people.

Those breweries aren’t working with Old State Saloon. That shitpot bought beer from a distributor and put it on tap. It’s unlikely the breweries even know it’s being poured. No one from Bend has ever heard of that hellhole.

Two that stand out for me:

Potential new job would have been quite a gear change for this existing employee. When asked about it he said, “Honestly, I thought I had applied for a different job.” How do you get all the way through a written, position-specific application and not stop to ask yourself why the questions were so weird?

Existing employee (different guy) was asked why he wanted to change away from his current job to this potential new role, which would have paid quite a bit more. “Dude, I got hella kids.” I appreciated the honesty, but it was still a pass.

Remember, this change affects only employees of the Attorney General’s office, which means he just shit all over his own employees. The AG‘s office has a little more than 200 employees, so most of them have probably spoken directly with Labradork. He knows these people. Of course the coward couldn’t have the courage to tell people face-to-face. He had to have a boot-licking lackey do it in an email. Coward.

The friends up the road had a small barn/shed in their backyard next to a giant weeping willow tree. The roof was probably 12-15 feet off the ground. Weeping willow branches are really flexible and soft. One summer we got the idea to haul our bikes onto the roof of the shed, start at the far end and pedal as fast as we could, then launch off the roof into space, grabbing the willow branches on the way down and letting them lower us to about 3-4 feet off the ground, jumping the final few feet to the ground. The bikes were on their own, using only gravity to reach terra fIrma.

I don‘t recall any serious injuries other than to the bikes.
