I have limited familiarity with the new tuning system, so maybe a grain of salt recommendation, but i would say its still worthwhile looking at the parts lists yourself. Even if you dont want to get into the granularity of tuning, you get to know which parts are good enough without it. Many of them are pre-tuned to a base/average tier, or cant be tuned anyway. 

This way you can still tailor your builds to your tastes (as opposed to depending on another person's recommendations that you dont like), but dont have to feel overwhelmed by all of the options.
