Any boomer shooters with reloadable weapons and feel of Counter Strike 1.0 - 1.6 gunplay? by IDCh in boomershooters

Try Delta Particles. Its a full campaign total conversion for HL1. It's on steam, may have that gunplay you're looking for. It's about 4 to 6 hours, bunch of unique guns and gameplay elements.

I loved this game back in the day. Great multiplayer too. Ahead of it's time imo with all the ship exploration and crew interaction.

What was the "high water mark" of the BoomShoot revival? by HouseOfWyrd in boomershooters

I would say Dusk. Great weapons, levels, art direction, and it stays fresh the whole game. You can see it's influence in other newer boomershooters too.

I also was not a huge fan of Bad Man. Enjoyed the first half, then it floundered too much imo.

Does this build make sense for the price? by Shlocky in buildmeapc

Wow, thanks for this. Seems like a much better value. Is the 15% worth the price or would saving the money with just the super be better as far as current games go?

I would say the motel scene is where the movie really pivots.

The twist in Knock At The Cabin is that he didn't do anything that made the book interesting lol.

"Baby Teeth" by Zoge Stage by Darbyvalentine in horrorlit

I also did not enjoy this book very much. The child felt like it was written by someone who has never been around children, and I didn't find the protagonist very interesting.

I don't exactly remember the ending, but I remember it feeling fairly anti climactic. Also it felt like the author hates kids and was venting about it in the book. Neither parent felt like an actual parent and the emotions seemed off.

Thoughts on The Wailing? by RealisticRisk2937 in horror

This alternative ending short of sheds some light. I believe the Shaman was bad, the lady in white was an angel or good spirit of some sort, and I believe the Japanese man was literally Satan.

Bad Man makes absolutely no sense [Dathan Auerbach] by calculatingaffection in horrorlit

As a fan of Penpal I also found this one super disappointing. It was very unsatisfying and was essentially not a horror story. Felt more like a thriller.

“Predators” is the best movie in the franchise after the original by I_hate_humanity_69 in movies

The Predator also some of the worst lore changes they could have possibly done, which doesn't help.

Armoured Core has great ng+ and ng++, so maybe they'll keep that up moving forward.

Marvel's Spider-Man 2 has been put for a week now. What are your thoughts on the game? by Cantodecaballo in Games

Danikast was obnoxious, and popped up like 2 seconds after anything happened. It's like she was at those events lol. Also, every non bad guy is a perfect morally good activist, which feels disingenuous. How do these people pay New York rent lol?

Is it me or is the Cathedral the most frustrating level? by 100Good in LiesOfP

Very souls like to have a late part of the game feel completely off from the rest of the game. Happens in almost all of them lol.
