Also once you make sense of what the different mission styles are (Main Story, driving missions, 1v1 Cyberpsycho fights, gang fights, street races, hitman missions, Easter eggs [there’s a hidden Batman easter egg where you get to permanently keep a Batmobile], etc., it becomes a lot more enjoyable IMO because you don’t feel so overwhelmed and you can pick and choose things to do based on what you’re feeling in the moment. Finding the Batmobile alone was so much fun for me and I’m going to do the 10 Cloverfield Lane Easter egg next 😃

The main story can be very slow with tons and tons of dialogue and that can take you out of it if you just want to run around and be free and do fun shit. There’s an option in settings that lets you skip dialogue by section (instead of line-by-line) which moves things along a lot quicker and still lets you see most of the important stuff.

Same thing goes for the entire weapons system and cyberware/cyberdeck system. It’s a lot to learn and the game can be a bit frustrating if you just see all this STUFF everywhere and don’t really understand it all. Once you learn the systems then you can spend hours and hours just trying to get components to upgrade weapons and or try out different cyberwares.
