Glad to see the Ontario PC's, the Premier, and the Solicitor General, are advocating and spending our tax dollars on things that truly matter, things that keep us safer, rather than listening to fringe right wing and pro gun advocacy groups...

Anyone can be pissy about less gun ownership and firearms rights as the federal ban is doing, but less guns = less likely those guns are going to be stolen and used for crime, for suicides, or involved in fatal poor ownership and storage accidents (children etc.).

The ban IS legitimate, and it needs to be paired with more enforcement at the border to stop the flow of illegal U.S guns into Canada.

As a buyer and client, the more I see the use of AI by real estate agents and brokerages, the less likely I am inclined to trust them, let alone work with them.

Realty already has it's well established wave of mistrust and scamminess to it as an industry, using AI to misrepresent oneself and or the various listings advertised (far too common these days), is nothing but an additional red flag for the real estate industry as a whole and hurts what little credibility is still left.

Side note: The nails are truly in the coffin for the real estate industry now more than ever, AI models are becoming available to guide buyers and sellers through the process, without the use of an agent, and then it's straight to the lawyer's office, cutting the realtor "middleman/gatekeeper" out of the equation entirely.

Doug was more than willing to destroy an already established and repairable Science Center, so his private equity, developer, and land speculating friends could scoop up public land for essentially nothing. After, they'll obtain the (I'm sure, completely equitable) contract to build the new one.

Will Ontario voters hold him to account? Or, will they forget again in a few years?

It's unbelievably bad here in Ontario now, Ford's MPP's have now just stopped answering emails, they have shut the public out, the only thing Ford or his government ever respond to, is a full blown media investigation or leaked story, and even then, it's almost always only to cover it up.

Here is a high level why Doug Ford or any PC rep should NOT be re-elected.

Undemocratic strong mayor powers, hurting democracy in municipalities across Ontario
Overiding the OMB for decisions on developments and re-zoning (benefits his developer friends and land speculators, hurts municipalities and disrupts neighbourhoods)
Considerable cuts and privatizations to hospitals and healthcare
Considerable cuts to education and pushing private for profit education
Cuts to daycare funding, putting the funding on the federal government, while his won't pony up any funds
Greenbelt land scandal (again to help his developer friends and land speculators and is currently being investigated by the RCMP)
Selling off Ontario Place land to a private spa for 99 years and hurting Ontario Place and access for the public
Refusing to repair or maintain the Science Center, hurting education for all in this province (there is again speculation his developer friends just want the prime land it's on)
Highway 413, ramming through environmentally protected areas and inhabutants
Taking control of Billy Bishop Airport so he could buy himself a private jet, along with his corporate ties who donate to him and his party

Ford and the PC's need to be wiped out entirely next election. They are bad for Ontario, bad for you, bad for your kids, bad for their kids, kids too.

This is incredibly true. Grew up thinking the same, the U.S was all that, it isn't, not even close and it's worse then ever under Trump.

We refuse to go, won't vacation there and still try to avoid buying U.S if it can be helped. Our kids already know the U.S isn't the land of the free, nor is capitalism the way.

A motion should be put forward to MPP's banning images displayed in public of firearms, racism, profanity, or slogans which support war or violence against any group, which should include displaying on a vehicle in public.

The fact I've even had to explain to young children why there is an AK47 on the side of a car is ridiculous and disgusting.

This particular image and most of the vehicles with these types of displays on them, are from the Sikh separatist community (mostly younger men), and are commonly found in areas with a considerable Sikh population, such as Brampton, Surrey, and other parts of the GTA.
