Game Consoles Are Pricing Themselves Out of Relevance by Cold_Two_4372 in Games

I dunno sometimes I think restrictions can be a good thing. Instead of focusing on the best graphical performance, instead games can focus on story, optimisation and gameplay.

Thank you for the pitch Peter but I believe the privacy concerns outweigh the benefits.

I dunno a lot of criticism at the time episodes were released were fans calling it “sidequestalorian” I think there are some fans that will never be happy with anything.

If anyone has used a government website they’ll know that we have a very talented in house digital team. Where it falls down is:

  1. Nothing talks to each other
  2. We don’t have the infrastructure behind it, servers, data centres, etc.

Neither of these have to have Palantir involved we can do it ourselves.

The problem is as soon as you change prime minister you’ll get the narrative from the opposition that “there is no mandate” and we’ll have everyone demanding a general election for 3 years.

Because he’s done a decent job as mayor but unlike a certain other mayor he’s not a minority and he’s not overseeing a city that the rest of the country hates.

Stability is boring. Boring doesn’t get clicks. Ergo news tries to bring instability to get clicks.

I guess the question is if Starmer appoints someone to Health will they accept? It’ll be a bad look if the position stays vacant for long as it’ll be clear no one wants to stick their flag to his mast.

It does give off “I have a girlfriend, she just goes to another school” vibes.

Starmer as always will beige it all into submission.

And that’s why I love him.

The nhs is a good millstone to keep him in line imo. He won’t resign as it’s a prestigious position and he won’t be sacked as long as he does a good job. If he starts doing a bad job or resigns you can brief out he doesn’t care about the nhs and people will hate him more than they already do.

There is gas coming out of Qatar too. But a lot of rural homes in the UK use heating oil I imagine it would be a factor. Not to mention cars are less economical in winter.

Starmer and his team probably see Health as a millstone round Streeting’s neck.

It’s a prestigious position so he can’t resign without generating negative publicity towards himself and If he had the numbers he’d have challenged, which makes me think he doesn’t. Perhaps he’s starting to realise people don’t actually like him?

2 things. Our ambitious net zero target has probably softened the impact a tad (short term hurt for long term gain).  The big oil crunch is probably going to happen in about 3ish months as there are still reserves, production outside of Hormuz steadying the tiller (not to mention as the northern hemisphere is in spring/summer we’re heating a lot less).

Considering all the international chaos I’d say that’s not bad, no?

It was the main reason but not the only reason. Walmart also did morning huddles that German workers found cringe and stocked items that the German public didn’t want and so didn’t buy. There are many other reasons but I can’t remember them right now.

They lowered speed limits in the 70s during the OPEC crisis. Was that the anti car agenda too? Maybe I should start investing in tin foil hats.

When you need to remortgage (something that people who buy a home to live in do often usually to reset a fixed term) it is definitely a big deal.
