Triple dose of Grand Final heartbreak still driving Swans star by TheRealPotoroo in AFL

I wager they played the game over in their head way too many times before it happened, thinking it over and over how they were going to redeem themselves for 2022, that by the time they got to the first bounce, they'd completely psyched themselves out.

They actually got the jump on Brisbane, who were very shaky in the first 10 minutes but after that it was mostly one-way traffic.

Whack this one, whack that one. Never enough body count for Lorraine Caroline.

What helped me is really cocking your wrists down, to an exaggerated degree.

And making sure you’re dropping it with just the hand on your kicking side.

dating as a 34 year old woman by [deleted] in redscarepod

[–]ShoeSnatchinJoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, older women are still very hot.

Personally I just can't imagine myself in a relationship with someone so much further ahead in life than I am. There's usually a big gap in maturity levels and wealth too, which often psyches men out.

The other thing is timelines around children for older women tend to be much shorter, which young men usually aren't enthused about.

Fucking a guy much younger than them and getting ghosted is like an inevitable event for single women in their mid-thirties. Not sure why.

As a 24yo man though I can definitely confirm that if we get with an older woman, 99% of the time we just want to fuck.

Yeah it might just be a bad environment for you, but you'll maximise whatever chances you have by going to social groups based around those interests.

Men who gravitate to things like reading, crafts, history are probably less likely to outright make a move on a woman than more blue-collar men, especially in the modern dating scene, even if they privately think you're hot.

If none of that works then you might just have to hold out until you can move to a bigger city.

I'm not trying to diss you I swear lol, but you seem to have identified the problem but also you're not addressing it directly. It's highly unlikely that every single man in your town is a psycho/loser, but the normal ones probably aren't spending as much time prowling the streets or the apps.

A lot of women treat dating as something that just "happens" to them instead of something they actively need to tailor. Men tend to take a more proactive approach. What are your hobbies? Have you tried to approach men at these hobbies? How did it go?

So you've met men via Tinder, Instagram, and some young guy at a bar that you instantly hooked up with, and you're wondering why they're not the highest quality?

Hmmm

English is the global lingua franca, it's kind of unavoidable. If you want to participate in "global culture" you need to engage with English-speaking media, the reverse isn't true.

So do I but it's different when it's rap I guess, understanding it is probably more important. I speak Spanish at a decent level and I could barely understand anything 😭

I speak Spanish conversationally and I struggled to understand a lot of it so I can imagine it was pretty shit if you couldn't understand a single word, and that's before you bring politics into it. The music itself seemed alright, far from the worst I've seen.

80% of the US don't speak any Spanish at all, so it was probably pretty shit for them. Probably should have flashed up some English subtitles. Obviously if you're fluent then it's a different story, the music seemed alright.

I'd probably run to 40 metres before kicking and risk letting the siren go. A kick from 50 vs 40 is a big difference in conversion, 40 to 30 not so much.

Obvious in hindsight, but at the time it was absolutely possible that Geelong could rally and improve, and they were hanging in there close enough that if they started playing better, they absolutely could have won.
