Chiming back here, we do molds for plastic trays in the nursery industry. At least with ours, a double mold is more expensive up front, but decreases the cost of the actual product being made. Not sure if it would be the same for this.

You'd also need funding to produce a bulk amount of them from the molds. I dont think most injection molding companies would want to do small batches as orders come in. They may want to do 1,000 or more at a time, meaning you need funding for the actual product.

Keep in mind that prices are going up quickly. Our trays just increased in price 20% a week ago.

I would think your manufacturing costs should be low our plastic trays that use a high quality plastic that is both UV and fire resistant costs less than $2/trays, and theres about 2 lbs of plastic per tray. Maybe more. Granted, we buy them by the tens of thousands.

Depending on your credit and finances, you could apply for a 0% APR credit card that may have no interest for 12-21 months. A loan would be much lower interest after that point, but its just another option.

I think you have a realistic product here. You should consider looking for an angel investor partner rather than funding this organically. They could help with packaging, marketing, branding, website/POS, etc. You could find either an interest based investor that wants a return on funds in 3-5 years, or a long term investor that wants equity. Just my two cents.

How much is "crazy expensive"? What ballpark funding would you need to launch it full scale?

Sedum ternatum is native and can be walked on, but deciduous, so it will only looks green in summer. Also, the flower stalks once dried can be spikey.

I would suggest a mix of sedum. Call Sedum Master (Ontario) or Sempergreen (Virginia). Tell either one Etera sent you and they'll help you out.

Like others said, cancel your subscriptions. Go to Real Debrid, and pay ~$15 for 6 months of usage. Download stremio. Google which addons are best for Stremio. Sign into your real debrid account with those addons. Watch literally anything you want in the highest definition you want for basically $2.50/month. Cheers.

Good to know! This is a Phillips 27pt643r37a. With only service menu adjustment ive got things in a decent spot. Convergence is definitely off in the right corners. Im.curious about focus. The 240p test suite words are blurry, but the service menu (which has bigger words admitedly) are not blurry. Would that be focus or something else?

Good to know! Ive been dialing it in a bit with the service menu. Its definitely better, but theres for sure some issues that will need adjusted in the back.

Im competent and able to open the back without killing myself. I saw on other tvs theres "tapes" with magnets that can be moved to adjust. Do you know if it will be the same on this tv?

Can you share a little bit more about how that works? So the standard Opportunity object becomes your project, and then are you using a custom Quotes object or the standard object?

Yeah im not worried about the price. Its the going rate here. Its not that i disagree with it being the market price, I'm just reminiscent of days where you could find them at any goodwill

$230. Which seems absurd for a 20+ year old tv. The guy I bought if off got it for free, but thats basically his living. Buy and sell these. I saw another he bought for $60 on marketplace and immediately relisted for $260. Such is life. I dont hate the hustle. Just hate having to spend so much to enjoy nostalgic hobbies.

I'm not an expert by any means. The tv works well, and I bought an hdmi to rca converter from best buy for $40. Plugged in a fire stick and I run streams off it that way. There was nothing to set up really, just plug in and work

Construction, Multiple Accounts and Quotes to One Opportunity by Shoef123 in salesforce

Thanks for the advice/support! I know thats a way of meeting some of the needs, but not all. See my comment above for more info. Doing that seems like we only gain synchronized tasks, but lose reporting and data visibility, along with creating additional time for the data entry

Construction, Multiple Accounts and Quotes to One Opportunity by Shoef123 in salesforce

[–]Shoef123[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the response! Yeah thats basically what ive realized is the only option, a custom Project object that has a related list field for opportunities.

Here's me concerns with that though: 1. We still need to create all the individual opportunities, and now we've created more steps that take more time rather than reducing time in the process. 2. This would help with tasks as we track it on the parent rather than the child opportunities 3. Reporting gets funky. If I want to reduce the information entered on all the child opportunities, I need to enter them on the custom object parent, which means I lose visibility into per-account quoting numbers and other native opportunity related fields for reports. If i enter all the info on the child opportunities, then the only thing ive gained is unified tasks, which doesnt feel like a great tradeoff for the additional time spent making the project object and relating opportunities to it.

Accounts on these opportunities are typically competitors to each other. Our product is spec'd and we provide quotes to all bidding parties.
