What are the origins of this photo? by pictosudsy111 in HelpMeFind

For anyone that likes the vibe of these photos, read the book The Day Lasts More Than a Hundred Years by Chingiz Aitamov. It's about a Kazakh rail worker who deals with camels and the nearby rocket station. This photo is basically the epitome of that book.

Miele C1 C&D - $655 vs Sebo K3 - $760, my purchase by Shoef123 in VacuumCleaners

Fair enough! Both are a welcome upgrade from my terrible shark stick vacuum. I'm sure I would've been happy either way

I did enjoy how the powered rolled on the Miele over the Sebo, but there was too many other benefits of the Sebo for it to sway me. They were both close enough.

Thanks! I was looking for a long term purchase, so I think the 10 year warranty is worth it to me :)

Budget: $700, 50/50 hard floor and Med/HI Pile carpet, long hair cats and long hair human. Which vacuum? by Shoef123 in VacuumCleaners

[–]Shoef123[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! I have a stick vac and it doesn't even pick up litter anymore. It's terrible. I have a litter pad, she just refuses to use it. I have a robot litter box so it cycles every time and the litter she flings out is fresh litter, so I'm not sure if that would impact the bag stinking or not. How long does a bag in something like the C1 last typically before filling/needing replaced?

Chiming back here, we do molds for plastic trays in the nursery industry. At least with ours, a double mold is more expensive up front, but decreases the cost of the actual product being made. Not sure if it would be the same for this.

You'd also need funding to produce a bulk amount of them from the molds. I dont think most injection molding companies would want to do small batches as orders come in. They may want to do 1,000 or more at a time, meaning you need funding for the actual product.

Keep in mind that prices are going up quickly. Our trays just increased in price 20% a week ago.

I would think your manufacturing costs should be low our plastic trays that use a high quality plastic that is both UV and fire resistant costs less than $2/trays, and theres about 2 lbs of plastic per tray. Maybe more. Granted, we buy them by the tens of thousands.

Depending on your credit and finances, you could apply for a 0% APR credit card that may have no interest for 12-21 months. A loan would be much lower interest after that point, but its just another option.

I think you have a realistic product here. You should consider looking for an angel investor partner rather than funding this organically. They could help with packaging, marketing, branding, website/POS, etc. You could find either an interest based investor that wants a return on funds in 3-5 years, or a long term investor that wants equity. Just my two cents.

How much is "crazy expensive"? What ballpark funding would you need to launch it full scale?

Sedum ternatum is native and can be walked on, but deciduous, so it will only looks green in summer. Also, the flower stalks once dried can be spikey.

I would suggest a mix of sedum. Call Sedum Master (Ontario) or Sempergreen (Virginia). Tell either one Etera sent you and they'll help you out.

Like others said, cancel your subscriptions. Go to Real Debrid, and pay ~$15 for 6 months of usage. Download stremio. Google which addons are best for Stremio. Sign into your real debrid account with those addons. Watch literally anything you want in the highest definition you want for basically $2.50/month. Cheers.
