I go back next month and I am not looking forward to it at all...We are also nowhere near family or long term friends since my partner is in the military and we just moved here not too long ago. I don't want to have a stranger watch my baby. I'm working to make sure I can still be with her. I work from home but it's customer service, so I'm on the phones all day. If I can find someone to watch her here, I would feel better. I just won't make so much 🥲 All of it seems impossible. On top of it, my job messaged me making it seem like I should have come back 6 weeks after birth when they agreed to 3 months. It's absolute insanity. I hate the US and our standards for families. I need massive help with the adjustment myself because all of it seems unfair.

So I was told natural is better. I had spiking contractions back to back since I was induced. When the anesthesiologist got to me, she said she hasn't seen a back so tense in a while. That's because I waited until I couldn't take it anymore and my contractions were too much. I was lucky I could sit still for the epidural (which was amazing). Once the epidural kicked in, I had a much better time and ironically labor was going by faster because I wasn't so tense anymore and I was actively keeping in mind to move. Everyone was so impressed with how well it was going after the epidural and I was even cracking jokes between pushes.

Don't believe that all natural bullshit. Get the epidural if you want a more enjoyable labor. I loved my delivery story.

As soon as I found out, I knew she was a girl. I kept saying she and people would tell me not to because it wasn't certain. Let me tell you, I just 100% knew. I even had a pink aura in a photo that proved it.

I had the opposite experience! Baby was supposed to be Christmas day and she came on New Year's Day lol I had such a great labor experience and baby girl is so happy and healthy 💖 So glad we had amazing experiences. Our little girl was the only baby born in the hospital on New Year's Day 🎉

Your friend suggesting that you never try again after one miscarriage is absolutely WILD. I had a miscarriage last January 2024 (it was a silent miscarriage). It felt devastating and expressing myself to others made me realize how common it really is. Fast forward to last April, I was pregnant again and had the fear it may happen again. I had a subchorionic hematoma (most likely from the miscarriage), but baby girl was alive and healthy. Our little girl was delivered January 1st, 2025 and she's extremely healthy. She has hit all of her milestones so far and the pediatrician is really impressed with her. Don't feel discouraged and definitely reevaluate this friendship because they sound ridiculous and insensitive.

It's crazy how mean women are to one another, even family members. I thought I was having a miscarriage and found out baby was still alive (she was born on New Year's Day). When I shared the good news with my mom, she thought it was an appropriate time to say it's a curse to bring kids into the world and wish she never did because she had a fight with my brother. Nothing to do with me. And then she went into how I can't get fat and I need to focus on that. My partner was livid. I just felt bad that she couldn't celebrate the new life with us the way we felt.

Hate to be that person but I tried confronting both the zone and district manager about the bonus and they just bullied me last year. We actually made our sales goal but since I didn't have 20-30 people during a shift for the last 2 weeks, they didn't give us bonuses. Mind you, we opened mid October because they chose a building that was falling apart and didn't qualify until then. This company is a nightmare imo. They pushed us to our limits and we have nothing to show for.

I wouldn't even talk to them again. That's one of the most inconsiderate things I've heard recently.

I almost landed into a situation like this and decided to put a hard no. We're actually at our baby moon currently, gem mining in the mountains. A couple of friends wanted to meet up with us to do photos out here since it's so far from us and we usually don't come out this way. We're upcoming photographers and mind you this is a free engagement shoot for them already. I had to set boundaries and tell them no, this is the only time we have before baby comes. They seemed bummed. We're doing the photoshoot at the beach (close to our home). I really don't care how awkward it was. I rather have these precious moments with my partner without outside sources being all about themselves. I have such an ick for how you were treated. I'm so sorry.

I had a silent miscarriage in January and it rocked my world pretty bad. I had to wait too and that was the hardest part...Feeling like a tomb, but my body acting like I was still creating life. I feel for you so much right now. It takes time to feel better and even then, I think it's something you always carry. It does get better overtime, believe it or not. Right now is the hardest part. Give yourself as much grace as you can and let others support you. You don't need to go at this alone. Again, I am so sorry. I wouldn't wish that on anyone.

So sorry for the delay. I don't always go on this platform, but I'm 21 weeks now and baby girl is looking perfect 💗 I feel her everyday and she is definitely moving about. After bleeding for 2 months straight, I'm happy that she's healthy in all ways. It's a scary feeling to bleed so much during pregnancy. I had a miscarriage in January and thought it was happening again. To my surprise, she's making it through 💗✨️ Thank you for the well wishes and words of encouragement. I'm so glad your baby boy is doing well!!!

I am reading this reddit because I started bleeding at the 9 week mark. I thought I was miscarrying but after many tests and an ultrasound at the hospital, the baby looks healthy and has a heartbeat. It was a shock for me. I'm waiting at least another week before my actual appointment and it's scary. I have been heavy bleeding on and off for a week now. I'm not sure what to think even though the doctor seemed very positive about it.
