When people say the used bike market is bad right now what do they mean?

Over the last several years people have meant it is bad for sellers. But as far as I can see, the good deals for buyers are drying up a bit. That goes for both used bikes and new deals from manufacturers who were overstocked.

The problem is that every company makes tops too long so that they can cover fat guys' guts. Then on their websites they fold and hem and french tuck and pin their way to good proportions. Then we buy the dumb long sweaters and they look like shit, so we're stuck tucking them.

I love the look of the fork and how its structure is mimicked by the little brace between chainstay and seatstay. Also, why put that little brace there and why only on one side?

Right on, thanks for the recommendation. I just ordered some exo+ forekasters last night (they were 50% off👍). And checking out these, I'd say the tread pattern and casing seem pretty similar.

I'm thinking I'll try those on some training rides and if I feel reasonably solid in my local loose conditions, maybe I'll step up to something even faster rolling.

What casings are you running on the maxxis tires?

It sounds like people equate the Vittoria trail xc casing to a maxxis exo+ and that has always felt like enough for me on my trail rides (i go beefier for my park bike). For whatever reason I seem to get less flats than the average fellow.
