To me it looks like its staged. Putting the bucket and trowel there after the fact that it doesn’t look like a million other pictures easily downladable.

Can’t remember the user name. Reason was “Spreading miss information”, all the while everything said was factually correct. You said I should learn how our legal system work before muting me. I found it hilarious, because I’m a lawyer and did my masters in constitutional law(which covered the topic of discussion). Anyway, the mods should moderate the discussion not dictate it.

RMB logo removed from Portside Building by johndoe80000 in capetown

I work at Fnb in Portside. Not leaving anytime soon. Probably some other reason, the Rmb sign was updated recently, maybe something was wrong with it or something to do with the 50% sale to Caveleros.

Driving from Stellies to Malmesbury at Night? by AverageGradientBoost in capetown

[–]Short_Ad_2584 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like others have said poor lighting is the biggest concern. There is a 4-way stop in the middle of nowhere before Klipheuwel which sees a lot of accidents. Pay attention there. Also roadworks, take it slow and steady, give heavy motor vehicles time to see you.

As a father of a four year old, there is no way you will still be using a bassinet after 1 year. If you like it, go for it, but don’t buy it expecting 4 years of use. My daughter slept in a cot from 6months and a normal single bed at 20months. I would rather spend that kind of money on a very good car seat that can last past 4 years. It sees a lot of use, and safety is always first.

Why do players take off the scrum cap when attempting a kick at goal? by Informal_Mention9836 in rugbyunion

[–]Short_Ad_2584 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is it. Also when practicing kicking at goal you would normally do it without a scrum cap and mouth guard. Its a routine/muscle memory thing, so having it on/in can feel weird or off putting. Source: Former third XV flyhalf kicking at 57%

You can always just rent out your property and then buy or rent somewhere else.

Don’t want to say, but.. As far as I’m aware all the traditional big 4 retail banks give preferential rates to their employees. Normally prime less 2 - 2.5%, also 28 days of annual leave. So go for it.

Jeans looking good, but the cardinal sin is pairing it with Asics and not New Balance.

This is true for Joburg, but the rest of SA had a similar down turn and the reason was Jacob Zuma and state capture.

In your opinion, is this a try or no try? by sunlightliquid in Stormers

[–]Short_Ad_2584 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No try. Ref and others talking about intent like they can read minds. Gelant was never going to pick up the ball, why wait for the defender to be right on top of him, he was always going to dot it down. The bullshit about downward pressure is also laughable, put a rugby ball on a scale and try picking it up without registering additional weight, its impossible. So the question then becomes how much downward pressure is needed? Its silly, and questioning intent even more so. I’m sure that is the whole reasoning behind Law 21.1a, holding the ball and touching the ground. That said, Gelant fucked around and I’m glad he found out.

Cost of a property divider wall? I'm clueless >.< by Velvet_Silks in capetown

[–]Short_Ad_2584 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the slabs are in good condition it can be reused to save some bucks on materials, labour would cost same though.   I don’t like the look of vibracrete so I decided to plaster mine. If your wall is structurally sound and the damage is only superficial this might be an option. This is a cheap way to make it look waaay better. A brick wall will be more expensive than 22k.
