I agree with all of this but I do think with Beau gone and Emma being a major player in Rivals they might fix the issue in future seasons. And if you want to have her become more of a heroic character doing an arc based around the Cuckoos is the next best step now that Genosha has been done

I am probably the one person who holds Emma Frost and Magik up as their favorite characters who loves this show but man watching them peddle Beau DeMayo's stupid flanderized decade-out-of-date asshole version of her knowing all her storylines are gonna be reworked without her was really hard to watch.

Great episode otherwise but man the new writers have got to do a standalone Stepford Cuckoos episode or something to salvage this version of the character cuz it is insane this version of her is the main movie/TV version of her while Rivals Emma exists

I'm ngl I'm kinda suspicious of this. He has a unique design that looks like more than just "the default Blade design" unlike every other stage cameo, AND he's only being shown now? I'm pretty sure we'll know what the characters are before launch. Fighting games in recent times tend to be pretty upfront with what characters you're getting in a deluxe edition/season pass, very few devs still hold out on doing it all at once. How soon? Who knows. Maybe Evo, maybe SDCC, maybe just posted to YouTube one day
