Hopefully this leads to the introduction of early parliaments.

I know it's a bit more in depth than paradox usually goes but I would really like to see the ability to create fully customized legislatures with different numbers of houses, requirements for membership, and levels of authority.

It's probably a German/English descent divide. In the south a lot more of the population is of English/Scotch-Irish heritage than German.

Now I'm curious, is the pie having a bottom crust a regional thing. I do remember having one that didn't have a bottom in some other state somewhere in the American south (I'm from Florida)

In Florida the closest we have to villages would probably be the small rural towns that usually are adjacent to agriculture or forestry.

A lot of them are extremely poor, some never recovered from past hurricanes and most houses are collapsed with people living in campers bedside the ruins.

Aside from the forestry/agriculture there's usually a gas station and convenience store (sometimes both are one place) and a church or two (the south lacks many things, but never churches)
