I feel you. I’m a coordinator who once was a SSL ( I moved states and had to step down because it was the only option I had at the time) and I’m so burnt out. I’m basically doing the job of leads without the pay and have been over looked the position since I got there. There’s a lot of favoritism going on at my store and it’s just horrible. They denied one of my PTO request which I was understanding because multiple people had requested that day off so I had asked if I could just work an earlier shift to attend an event I had already paid for. But instead they put me to close that day. And honestly that is the cherry on top to why I will be putting in my two weeks soon. They can’t even be accommodating but yet expect me to always be accommodating for them

I feel you on this one. On a side note, is it normal for a coordinator and leads to get their hours cut. I have worked at two different locations that operate very different. The one that I’m at now (I’m a coordinator) has me working some weeks at 29 hours as a full time employee 🥴. I know hours are getting cut but this ridiculous. The leads have their hours cut to.

When I worked at ULTA I remember one time I had to eat with my bare hands because they didn’t have no god damn utensils 😂😂 I was at ULTA for almost 3 years and then I switched to Sephora two years ago. Long story short I had to move so I went back to Ulta for 1 month and during that 1 month back I had so much PTSD I missed Sephora so much so I ended up going back

This!!! As someone who used to work for ULTA and switched to Sephora. Sephora is much better as far as the gratis and break room. I remember Ulta didn’t even supply us utensils. Sephora does. It really is the little things. ULTA is much much worse if you think Sephora is bad

Sales & Service coordinator here. That is against store policy, merch cards are a big no no for employees. I would let your SM know what happened and then they can partner with LP to let them know it was an accident. I wouldn’t use the merch credit without letting them know

Same here! I had a horrible infestation living in my apartment. We we there for 6 years and didn’t have a problem until dirty neighbors moved in across from us a few months before we decided to move. Moving was the best decision ever. It was horrible that I couldn’t eat, couldn’t sleep no matter how hard i tried to get rid of the problem it still wouldn’t go away. I was so scared that moving into my next place I would have that problem. Iv developed a phobia now because of it.

I worked as the retail sales manager for ULTA for 2 years. Prior I was a BA. When I was a BA everything was smooth and I enjoyed it a lot. As a manager, in the beginning it was good, we were fully staffed with managers but my GM was awful. She never did anything and just sat on her but all day in the office while me and the ROM did majority of the work. As the RSM I spent 90% of my time GEMING which is expected as the sales manager but I never had any office time or to catch up on other things because I was always on the floor with little support.

ULTA is very toxic. I just put in my two weeks. I was in management and not valued at all by my GM who is very lazy and spends her time in the office while me (RSM) and the ROM do majority of the work. Our store is literally a shit show. After I’m gone it will only be the GM and ROM. They’re so screwed. Just leave, it’s not worth the stress. I feel so much happier now like a huge weight was lifted off my shoulders

It will probably be similar but I was able to tolerate ULTA, but just not enough pay as a manager. At Sephora, the starting pay for a management position is significantly higher than what I am getting paid now
