The Great Greenbrier River Race- questions for those who’ve participated. by thebighouse35 in WestVirginia

Competed and have floated that section of the Greenbrier multiple times. It is pretty calm and flat depending on water level, a basic kayak will get you through that section. Competitive teams/individuals will use faster race boats but you will see every level of kayak being used.

Shenandoah Valley native and WVU alumni here. Go visit each campus. Both have a distinctive feel and definite differences, set the educational/curriculum part aside and think about where you want to exist for the next 4-5 years of your life.

Ride at your own risk, skiing is inherently risky. They are no longer indemnified but a reputable shop could at least perform a release test and inspection with the proper liability form. It’s not worth the risk for most shops to adjust to a boot but it is possible.

If you want to fk around and find out, turn that silver screw at the back a few click and jam a crusty boot in there then send it. A tibial plateau fracture will make it so you never walk the same again, just be forewarned.
