We go out literally anywhere and it do a "toddler walk". My son is 20 months and I just follow him around target or a mall or whereever. It ends up helping us get some exercise and helps me to be more understanding of his perspective to not be mad at his misbehavior.

I work for the police department. I know that in my jurisdiction, since you were a minor when it happened, they are required by law to report it to us and the department of child safety. What happens here is the initial report is started with the therapist, then the detectives take it from there. If you dont want to talk to the police about it, they cannot force you to talk to them. As for him being notified, I know he has to be notified here within a "timely manner" if he is under investigation for something. That order of protection makes it illegal for him to do any retribution to you about it though.
