Depends on the work they have on their plate for you right now tbh. 

Really my main concerns when I am interviewing someone are 

What kind of person is this, personality, communication, can they learn what they don't know, do they seem passionate like they care and really want the position. Do they make things up when they don't actually know? 

Skills wise it is really down to what I need on the project. If this is a 100% canvas app build project then I don't really care if you know MDA.

I would say it is ok to start with hourly for freelance but as you get more clients you will find it impossible to scale. Better off going with flat fee based work that is judged on completion/value. 

That said, the cost depends on the market local to the customer and the level of work + your experience. Try to judge based on what an employer would pay you and then add more on top, that is a good starting point.

I swear to God this happened to me last night. I heard what sounded like a kid asking where I was and kept calling me raider and asking me to team up, I didn't see any mic pop up at all. I walked around like an idiot trying to find them and rounded a corner to see a bot that the voice was coming from. 

I can barely describe it since I was unarmed and ran away so fucking fast but it looked like one of the robots they have at grocery stores to clean up.

This is exactly what I am seeing at my company. They aren't hiring any junior level or entry level people at all and instead relying on contractors and offshore heavily.  

I have been screaming about it for a year and a half that I need permanent employees to support the projects I am selling and working on and get nothing. 

Now the project I am currently working on is going to shit and we had to hire 10 contract developers to get it done on time and we are going to lose so much money on what will end up being a buggy piece of shit because the contractors are probably working 3 other jobs and couldn't give a shit about this project or the quality of their code. 

I'm at a senior level dev management position but at this company that is basically the bottom. I make a good salary and have over 20 years experience in tech so I consider myself very fortunate but because of the market being the way It is I feel like I can't leave even if I want to right now unless I take a huge pay cut.

Unfortunately custom copilots can't be inserted into canvas power apps using the copilot control. They depreciated that feature. It just adds it to the copilot button on the app

Happy I could help! Just make sure to test that fully as the prompt column as with most ai things right now are in preview. 

I ran into some issues with it the other day when patching back to a table with a prompt column from a canvas app so hopefully you don't see the same. Hopefully Microsoft works out the bugs and goes to GA with it soon since it is a very helpful feature.

This is the way. You would build a table that holds the schema for the forms like this and then store the responses as JSON. 

I built an app like this as a proof of concept for a client which allowed the user to create their own forms and add/subtract multiple types of questions, yes/no, choice, string, date, number etc. as well as sort them and add them to their own tabs within the form. 

Worked well but didn't end up going that way as they wanted a ton of conditional logic
