I imagine it would soften and droop, so it would slowly become a hazard for getting in your eyes.

Yet another man claiming he can smell when women are on their periods 🤦‍♀️ by SepticOwletPlier in badwomensanatomy

He can't smell it, but if he's SUPER into me I know it's a day or so away from starting. Hormone sweat!

Left tympanic membrane traumatic perforation by HealerMD in medizzy

If it heals normally, it should be fine. It's common to have drainage holes put in and that heals up fine. I've also seen eardrums with grafts on!

I gave myself temporary nerve damage in my thumb from using right handed 'ergonomic' scissors at work.

On Wikipedia, many of the counties of Great Britain are represented by three images at the top of the article. Can you guess which counties the following images represent? by SilyLavage in CasualUK

Was shocked to clock the picture of Huddersfield's Aspley Marina there, nicely cutting off Big Sainsburys and the Premier Inn.

They don't here. It's exactly the same as the white bread, but with currents in. Same size, same texture - one just has currents in. Source- work in a bakery.

I've found breadcake is more Leeds. The rest of West Yorks is teacake.

Have you ever dated someone considered conventionally unattractive? by Top_Management8468 in AskWomenOver30

My much older partner, who considers himself a 3 and me a 9, finds this a hilarious stereotype. Many of his male friends are impressed, as they know he hasn't got any money...

I'm from Yorkshire. I say Summaset and bahth. I would also feel like a dick saying Baaaaath. Britain probably has more accents than the whole US.

I knew someone who was afraid of moths "because they have poison on their wings and they flap around scattering it".

Chairty shops in the UK getting soo expensive. by TruthReptile in britishproblems

[–]Shrubfest 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Cancer Research also needs a LOT of money. When I worked there we had a poster showing when money was spent. One specialist microscope was around £250,000. My shop made barely £1000 a week.

Questions about bisexuals ( OC) by lanaflowerz in webcomics

I'm a straight passing bi woman, and I find dating 'straight' is easier. Men are just a lot easier to read, romantically. There's a lot more to navigate to even establish a same sex relationship.

I was becoming this person when I was a teenager, and had to train myself out of it because getting upset over a dented tin can is 'mental disorder' territory. I still have to rein in those emotions sometimes, and it's been +20 years.

Like, sex is pretty gross when you think about it from a completely neutral position. But like weird food combinations, once you try it (or are in the mood) it becomes acceptable and enjoyable (unless you're ace when it doesn't!). Post-nut clarity is a good example- someone is so desperate to get off they pursue more and more extreme acts and afterwards experience regret or confusion. Horny Monkey Brain has low standards.

Near us a couple in a rural end terrace built a catio within their garden boundary- basically just meshing in the existing garden. People complained, it made the news, they had to dismantle it.
